On clear days, the view from the dining room is breathtakingly spectacular, allowing you to see the entire Jiufen town stretching all the way to the ocean. It’s a beautiful and awe-inspiring sight! "Okay walking distance from the train station, but check-in was terrible. I didn’t receive any details until standing outside on a rainy day trying to figure out how to call a local phone number, which was eventually answered by someone who only speaks Chinese. After an awkward minute on the phone they hung up, but a few minutes later I finally got instructions on how to get inside. The staircase inside is very tight and carrying suitcases up is quite difficult. Once inside, the room is clean...

"Very kind and helpful staff - we really appreciated being able to store our luggage prior to check-in. The room was spacious and clean, and the balcony view was absolutely stunning. Jiufen can be quite busy and loud, so we loved the inn’s quieter location, while still being conveniently walkable to the main bus stop for day trips and hikes."

"We stayed here with kids 12,11 and 8. Was cozy and a great location, I’d caution younger kids because of the loft but mine were ok. There was no breakfast foods there as mentioned in other reviews so I think that’s a thing of the past. Overall we enjoyed this stay"

"Beautiful B&B. Breakfast was amazing everyday. Property was in an awesome location with the beautiful Golden Waterfall within a 10 minute walk. 15 minute walk to bus station and some local cuisine. The owner even went on several walks with us and gave us some interesting facts about the area. She was truly an amazing hostess"
