"This is my third visit to Lightwell. I love the property though believe they can do better. They’re a nice property in a great town. I think the lobby and rooftop area are fantastic. The front desk staff is great. What I found wrong is that the room could be kept cleaner. This is a brand new property that they spent over a year or more renovating and opened not quite a year ago. I just think the housekeeping management could be better. For me, the bathrooms are the area that really indicate how well housekeeping is managing properties. My bathroom was pretty clean except, they weren’t refilling the amenities, even after asking for it to be done. The shower area had yellow soap scum and I can’t help but think the effort to keep the space clean could/should be better. I share this here not to tell people don’t go, I share it to be sure management hears it. I love the place, will definitely go back again but want them to take the housekeeping efforts of the hotel more seriously than they are doing. If it keeps on the same path, in a year I may be here saying I won’t stay."

"Beautiful setting. The grounds were so nice to enjoy and the view from our balcony was perfect. Older lodge but the room was upgraded to still show original fixtures. Tall table and bar stools was a nice feature making it easy to sit and enjoy computers and cocktails."

"We had a wonderful stay!! The place was SUPER clean and a great location for shopping and restaurants! (I highly recommend Three Rivers Grill just down the block!) Check in was a breeze and communication with the owner was excellent. The listing says “entire home” with two bedrooms, but the kitchen is a kitchenette without a stove or oven, and the second bedroom is actually the living room space so when it is in “bedroom mode”, there isn’t really a separate living room. We were a little surprised by that when we got there, and I probably just missed it in the details, but it is a super darling space and perfect for a small group. We would definitely stay there again!"

"We upgraded our stay to a suite and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were huge and nicely furnished. The view was breathtaking! We enjoyed a soak in a large tub, and relaxed by the fireplace in the evening. A wonderful way to spend our anniversary!"

"Very clean! Excellent location walking distance to everything although hilly great view of the river. Two things I would suggest, mats for the tub/ shower very slippery and removing the queen size bed and replacing it with a king the bedroom is big enough for it."
