This is a very nice place to stay with lovely people working here that make you feel welcome in Anguilla. Definitely recommend doing the boat ride if you can and all the water sports are great!

Great staff! One of the most beautiful beaches! The owner’s (Originally from California) are extremely friendly and genuinely nice. Definitely a place to visit.

I really liked my stay. Know that this is not a 5-star property but rather a very good 4-star place on a great beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Two suggestions: Ocean View rooms here have amazing views. We didn't get one, but wish we had. Anguilla has more upscale properties -- Four Seasons and Zemi Beach -- that are higher end and much more expensive. But Frangipani is a good choice unless you really want high end luxury.

This is a very nice property with updated rooms. The rooms are nicely furnished. Bathroom is A+. Staff are excellent, friendly and willing to give that extra service. The one thing the room needs is a coffee/tea station.

Best vacation I have ever had the resort is beautiful and staff is awesome managers Scott and Shannon are really down to earth people that make you feel right at home here. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Meads bay is beautiful with many awesome restaurants within walking distance down beach from resort. Straw Hat serves up some of the best food and drinks as well for breakfast I recommend the Meads Bay seafood frittata delicious. Ocean echo great pizza and Drinks have to try the Rumzie one of best rum punches I have ever had. Blanchards has really good food at a reasonable price as well, Jacala most amazing dinner I have ever had along with Malliouhana. Make sure to try Rum Bada dessert at Jacala awesome. Boat excursion is a must do they take you to so many places in a day that are around the island. Shoal Bay east is best beach I have ever seen

Charming hotel on beautiful beach
Frangipani was a charming smaller resort with great access to steps away from infinity pool and beautiful Meads Beach. Shannon and Scott made us feel very welcome there - couldn't have been nicer! We enjoyed sailing on the Hobie Cat with Juman. He was so friendly. Restaurants in area were excellent - especially enjoyed Tastys and E's Oven, and Blanchard's Beach Shack. We had fun dancing at Gwen's BBQ Griil to reggae music on Sunday! We hope to return to the friendly people in Anguilla and stay at wonderful Frangipani!

Wonderful beach hotel
A lovely hotel right on a gorgeous white sand beach. The attached restaurant is excellent and serves three meals a day. There's a beautiful pool, comfortable and pleasant pool and beach chairs. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff and very well-maintained facility. The hotel has a large motorboat that will take guests on snorkeling, beach-hopping trips with a friendly and knowledgeable driver. Our room was super clean, roomy and comfortable. Our only negative is that there was no coffee maker in the room.

Perfect Location
The beach at Meads Bay is beautiful. The 1 BR ocean front suite was nicely decorated with 3 different balconies all with nice views of the ocean. This location is a foodie's dream location with multiple highly rated restaurants on the same beach. The people were so friendly. I recommend renting a car if you want to explore the island's other beaches too, but you must drive on the left side on Anguilla.

Close to JFK. Less than restful
We needed easy access to JFK for a layover. The shuttle is convenient and easy. The facility was fairly clean. Our issue was the noise. There was lots of noise from the lobby, occasionally from passing traffic, and most notably from the 3 am hammering that sounded like it was coming from the lobby or kitchen area. The room was clean, but we did not sleep well, mostly due to the noise.

Wonderful experience overall, food was not as I remembered, for the quality breakfast was overpriced. Bathrooms are not practical... I however love the location, staff and everything else so it is safe to say that I will again visit..

A hidden gem we almost hate to tell others about, yet must because we love it so! If you seek hidden perfection, white sandy beaches, lovely food and people and water sports, go here! The love and attention given to all is amazing...and we have grown to call this our Anguillian home away from home.

Fantastic Hotel in GREAT Location!
Outstanding staff!! We met the owners, many of the staff, and many of the guests, all of whom made us feel very welcome. The beach and view are incredible. On site waterspouts are included, to include skiing, sailing, etc. I am already planning a return visit, loved it that much.

best beach on Anguilla
The Frangipani Resort located on Mead's Bay in Anguilla is a small, quiet, friendly, relaxing, comfortable hotel in a spectacular setting. By the second day most of the staff knew us by our first names and were always ready to help us in any way they could. Scott and Shannon were some of the most welcoming hotel managers we've ever met - and when Scott's mom accompanied us on our beach hopping tour she added a wonderful welcoming feel to the entire experience. I've never seen such beautiful, aqua-colored water in my life - the snorkeling was great. Definitely rent a car from the airport - the island's not very big or very busy but walking places gets old after awhile. This is someplace we'd return to without question.

Never can be disappointed!!
We decided for a diversion to Anguilla after spending most of the week in French St Martin: Wow, we were blown away by this resort especially with the room upgrade with fantastic ocean front views and unforgettable sunsets. The room had two balconies, two bathrooms, full kitchen with top of the line furnishings. Nice touches were fresh flowers, real prints for wall decoration, granite countertops, mahogany double doors, cave shower, private foyer for entry. Very friendly staff and all water sports were complimentary. It would be hard to find a more beautiful beach anywhere: turquoise water with white powdery sand. Especially unique was the intimacy and beauty of the resort. We are planning to come back next year for a longer stay! PS Wish the cuisine was French.

Uncompromising Comfort
Boutique resort on Meads Bay in incomparable Anguilla. Lodging comfortable with good sized, well maintained rooms. Beach and pool supported by sizable and accommodating staff who are pleasant and quick to please, affording towels, beach drinks, etc at the wave of a flag. Added attraction, outstanding StrawHat Restaurant on premises, serving exceptionally prepared seafood dinners at moderate price for the island.

Spectacular beach and beautiful, intimate resort
Greeted with a cold drink while you overlook the beautiful views. People were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Loved our room, we looked over the ocean. Ate frequently at onsite restaurant, Straw Hat. Met the owners at a welcoming cocktail sunset party. They were present throughout our stay and were quick to check in and offer help and suggestions.

Beat place to stay on Anguilla.
Staying at the Frangipani is among the best experiences we've ever had. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The location right on Mead's Bay is excellent. The Straw Hat is an outstanding beach restaurant with reasonable prices for excellent food. It's truly a wonderful vacation experience.

Best Hotel to stay in Anguilla!
The best vacation! Wonderful Management and Staff. The Resort is on the best beach in Anguilla with one of the best restaurants on the island. Grocery store in walking distance. So glad we stayed at the Frangipani instead of the overpriced Viceroy. the resort has all the charm of the island and you can here the sound of the ocean from any of the rooms. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful Beachfront Hotel
This hotel is run by a VERY friendly husband/wife management team complimented by an excellent staff. They assisted us in any way possible with anything we asked: recommendations of nearby places to dine or snorkel, the best ferry to travel to the airport, they arranged for our rental car and had it delivered to the hotel, they made dinner reservations for us at amazing restaurants within a 5 minute walk down the beach. Every recommendation from the management and staff was top notch. This is a lovely small hotel (19-20 rooms?), and the service was very personal and prompt. There is a boat for day trips. The on-site restaurant, Straw Hat, is also guilty of great service and delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach sand is powdery white and the ocean is aqua blue. We will definitely go back.

Great place to stay on my 60th birthday.
It wasn't cheap but I cannot say anything bad about the place. Was treated like a king. Have got to give the resort credit they just got back on their feet from the hurricane. They were about 1/3 full so we kind of had the place to ourselves. When I come into big bucks one day I'll be sure to re-visit.

Definitely a repeater!
From the moment we arrived to the very last day, we could not have asked for more. Next time we'll bring our kids, too. The staff, food on the island (although pricey, was wonderful), beach, small feel of resort area with personal attention given...we are lovely. This family owned resort is small and intimate where they give you privacy yet learn your names. Water sports were a true plus and plan to tip staff in every area, b/c their service will warrant it! First time there but we will go back!!!

Amazing Boutique Hotel
We returned to Anguilla for our 10th Anniversary (last time was our Honeymoon). Meads Bay is a great location, some of the best dining on the Island (Blanchard's, Jacala, Straw Hat). Breakfast was served at the Straw Hat every morning and we could walk to the Blanchard's Beach Shack for a casual lunch in the sand. Upon our Arrival we were greeted by Scott and Shannon, the owner/ managers, and invited to a Manager's Happy Hour around the pool. Scott and Shannon made us feel like we were guests in their home and made our stay a this 19 room Hotel very special. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach and around the infinity pool, allowed for lazy mornings without worrying about getting a "prime" seat on the beach. We did not realized all the great amenities available to guests before our arrival. Paddle Boards, Sea Kayaks, Water Skiing/ Tubing and Snorkel gear are available to all guests. Scott and Shannon also arranged a Beach Hopper Boat tour (on the resorts very own - Relentless), taking a group of guest around to nearby islands and beaches, showing us some of their favorite spots and giving us a unique view of the island! The number of repeat guests that we met during our stay is a testament to how great this place is! With promises of a gym and spa coming soon and the convenience of the large grocery store around the corner, we would never stay anywhere else. Look forward to being a "repeat" guest soon and bringing our young daughter with us next time!

Very nice small hotel right on Meads bay
The hotel location can't be beat. It is basically in the center of Meads bay so walking to the Viceroy, Blanchards or Jacala for meals is easy. Also the Straw Hat at the hotel is a great place to eat. The beaches were always clean and the water calm. The staff were just wonderful and very helpful. Scott and Shannon are wonderful managers and seem to really care about the guests. We would, and probably will return to Anguilla and stay at the Frangipani

Perfect location, wonderful staff experience.
Greeted with a rum punch and a warm smile. Our bags were whisked away while we checked in. We did a quick walk around the property. Every staff member welcomed us as well as other guests. The restaurant (Straw Hat) is one of a Anguilla's best and the two staffs act like family. The day boat excursion is tailored to the guests' preferences and is a great value. Wonderful experience.

Perfect honeymoon week at Frangipani
If you're coming to Anguilla for the beaches and the food (which should be topping your list anyway), you couldn't find a better place than Frangipani. Warm hospitality, perfect location, amazing resort. Managers Scott and Shannon will be happy to help you find the best spots on the island, make reservations, and make sure your time on the island is well-spent. We loved every second of our stay. (TIP: Rent a car from Andy's when you get off the ferry at Blowing Point. It will serve you well getting around the island and will be way cheaper than taxis.)

Relaxing beach retreat
This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel on an absolutely gorgeous beach. The staff was so friendly. Even the "no view" room had a nice view of some beautiful flowering bushes and a little sliver of ocean in the background. We were there for 2 nights on our honeymoon and we will definitely be back for an anniversary trip in the future!

Talk about a low key, unpretentious, amazing spot! The owners, location, look, and ambience make Frangipani a great place to stay on Meads Bay. Having the Straw Hat right next door is also a plus (great breakfast, very convenient). Can't wait to get back.

The Intimacy of Frangipani: PERFECT!
If you are looking for an intimate beachfront resort that is friendly, personalized, fresh, updated and offers all of the amenities that make it a true 5-Star experience, look no further! I had been to Anguilla 20 years earlier, and was nervous that time, hurricanes, economy, and development might have ruined this relatively secret and charming island, but am happy to report that my Frangipani Resort experience proved my fears unfounded: so skip the mega resorts and try this 18 room oasis in the Caribbean! With so much to offer here, we felt rental car was unnecessary for our needs (Foodies should get the car so they can hit the great variety of restaurants around the island though!) We travelled here in March 2014 to celebrate our recent 30th anniversary: we were greeted personally by owner/managers Scott and Shannon, who, aware of our event, kindly had a chilled bottle of champagne awaiting us in our wonderful room. The entire staff went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay a great one. Free unlimited access to watersports including Hobie Cat sailing was a terrific feature for me, and by the end of our stay I was smoking on that boat! Rashan, Carlin and staff at the activities stand assured a great experience for all. The on-site Straw Hat restaurant is top-notch, and their center-of- Mead's Bay location allows walkable access to several fine eateries as well as the economical Blanchard's beach shack.

This was one of the best vacations ever! We had picked the hotel based on reviews only and we were not disappointed! The hotel was spectacular! Scott and his wife welcomed us as we checked in and made sure we had everything we needed through out our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were pristine and discretely cleaned each afternoon including daily fresh flowers. There was a cocktail hour for guests to meet and mingle. We felt welcomed and had a "home away from home." We can't wait to go back next year!

Frangipani is a beautiful small hotel on a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The manager/owners are very hands on and go out of the way to set up fun activities for their guests. A great hotel in a great location!
