This area is the heart of Anela, offering a truly authentic Sardinian experience. You'll find the main church, local shops, and traditional eateries all within a short stroll. The streets here are narrow and winding, typical of ancient Sardinian villages, creating a very connected feel.

For couples seeking a quiet and authentic retreat, staying near the Piazza della Chiesa is perfect. You can enjoy leisurely evenings at local trattorias, sample regional wines, and experience the relaxed pace of village life. It's an ideal base for exploring the surrounding natural beauty and historical sites at your own rhythm.

Families will also find the village centre a good option due to its welcoming atmosphere and the ease of accessing local amenities. While Anela isn't known for bustling attractions, its charm lies in its simplicity and the opportunity to experience genuine Sardinian culture together.

For couples looking for a romantic getaway, spring is ideal. The countryside is lush and green, wildflowers are in bloom, and the temperatures are comfortable for exploring. You'll find it superb for leisurely drives through the scenic Bitti region, perhaps stopping at a local vineyard, or enjoying quiet evenings at charming restaurants in nearby towns like Bono.
