"Absolutely beautiful property with amazing, helpful staff. It is very close to the city but not right in the center (a short 5-minute drive). We actually preferred this.

I wanted to get one day skiing and experience the Caldea Spa. This hotel was great for both! Located right next to the Caldea Spa which was excellent. Also only short walk to bus stop to head up the mountain. A little distance from the city centre, but only a comfortable 10 minute walk, even in the snow. Our room wasn't available until 1300, but this was advertised so no issue. Room was great and comfortable. Noticed it did not have a clothes warmer rack as it is not a designated snow hotel....

The hotel staff were very friendly - among the most helpful I've ever experienced. The room was clean and well maintained. No air-conditioning but heating. The windows of our room opened to the sound of rushing water in the river near by, but the rooms were relatively quiet when the window was shut. We enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel was very close to the main shopping area and buses went nearby.

Wotif advised on their billing that a New Years Eve Dinner was included as part of the price but this was not the case. We had to find another New Years Eve event that cost us 380 Euro for four people. Wotif left us thinking we had an event booked and essentially left us out of pocket .
