"The place is being renovated, the problem is, it's being renovated while you stay there! So the lobby had huge roles of carpet and supplies in it, the room smelled like carpet glue, and there was banging in the morning at 9 when the workers started up. It was super disappointing. I paid 160.00 for a room and was excited to have a cozy stay by the lake. I feel like I should get a refund, and I want to warn others. Avoid the place."

"When we arrived I felt as if the front counter staff was not really welcoming. They had no friendly personality, it’s like they hated their job. Our room was dirty there were a toy car on the floor a blue cap to a drink on the floor and a used water bottle. The extra blanket was dirty and had stain on it of orange. And some red color on the blanket. I called a head of time to make sure the hot tub was working and was told yes. I was surprised to find it up for maintenance as it was being cleaned. I do like that they clean it but it was an inconvenience as we only booked the room to use the hot tub. It did open after three hours. We also noticed the sign where no children under 16 allowed in the hot tub and it was packed with kids. Which is fine at a point but not when you can get in because there is no room. My stay could have been a lot better. This is not a place I will stay again. "

"Wonderful, helpful staff. Bright decor, cleanliness throughout, wonderful family pool, workout equipment, good hot breakfast choices, fresh fruit and hot cinnamon rolls. "

"The staff was very friendly, and the hotel is in a great location. However, the room did not feel clean and was quite stuffy. Thankfully, we were able to open the window to get some fresh air. The carpet in our room especially needs to be replaced—it felt very dirty, to the point where we didn’t feel comfortable taking our shoes off. I can’t speak for other rooms, but ours could definitely use a deeper cleaning."
