Cozy boutique home near the airport

After exploring Alaska, come home to relax, cook a nice meal or plan your next adventure. An abundance of mood lighting throughout adds warmth to this cozy house. The boutique style home has craftsman touches that boast a welcoming atmosphere.

The space

Convenient from any direction the home is located in the center of Spenard. The Spenard community began as a lumber camp and its own city until becoming part of Anchorage in 1975. It was the place where Anchorage went to have fun, today Spenard is a central focus of bohemian lifestyle practitioners and artists and writers. This cute 1950 home is ideally positioned between the airport and downtown, only 5 minutes in either direction.

Guest access

This is a private home with off street parking in the driveway. Guests enjoy the entire ground level floor as well as front and side yard, the backyard is reserved for host. The host does not live on premises but has access from the back of property to use the unattached garage.

The house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. We could tell that the hosts put a lot of thought and effort into ensuring we had a nice stay. It was an easy drive from the airport and to downtown Anchorage and the local attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent stay arriving in Alaska. Very close to the airport with lots of good restaurants and stores available. Really comfortable bed and the house was really cute. The host thought of everything, labeling where everything is so we didn’t have to hunt for towels or utensils! Thank you so much!

I recommend the cozy boutique 10/10. The home was exactly as described on VRBO. It was very clean and spacious. Be cognizant of the many homeless people who stayed fairly near the entrance of the neighborhood. That was a bit unsettling, however, it didn’t take away from the home. The only issue we had was that we weren’t able to adjust the temperature. The owner suggested we either open a window or use a fan. We didn’t do either of those since my partner can’t sleep with a fan, and I was afraid to sleep with a window open.

This house was very clean and nice. The neighborhood was a bit run down but people are working to upgrade. However it was very quiet. Therfore very pleasant. The only suggestion I have for the home owner is to provide more wash clothes. We only found one

EVERYTHING about this place was great! Nice, comfortable bed, good bathroom; very sweet kitchen and well outfitted; spacious. Couldn't have been nicer. The only drawback is the location. Neighborhood is probably perfectly safe, but definitely not a walking neighborhood. A bit trashy. Otherwise, we really enjoyed it!

Well thought out and organized

Cute place fairly near the airport. Everything was very up to date, organized, and even labeled well beyond expectations. Don't think we took advantage of everything it offered. Home is a bit hidden on a corner with an alley and behind follage. Neighborhood seemed quiet while we we there with a mix of residents. Did not have access to the backyard, but that was not an issue and would only enhance the stay. Would have been great to have access to a washer and drier. Would stay again! Thanks.

Awesome place!

After traveling all day from Texas, we found a very awesome place to stay. The house was close to the airport, extremely clean, well stocked and a great size. The bed was perfect and very comfortable. Check in was easy. We would highly recommend staying here!!

All the comfort and ambiance

The home was lovely: Well laid out space, beautifully renovated and decorated, and very well equipped! Very comfortable bed and seating in the living room. Nice extra touches. Troy was helpful and quick to extend hospitality. We found our place in Anchorage and would definitely come back.
