The Speyside Hotel

"We absolutely LOVED Speyside Hotel. The couple that run it are wonderful people. Mark is so fun and so accommodating to his guests. He has a knack for knowing exactly which whisky each person will like and gave great recommendations. His wife Lucy is a phenomenal chef at the hotel restaurant. From the custom breakfasts that were included with our room rate, to the five star dinner menu…the food was absolutely delicious! Luke, Jessica and Katrina were all friendly and efficient. A truly wonderful staff that provided the best experience for us. The hotel bar is a blast at night with warm welcoming Highland vibes and friendly guests and locals. Our rooms were super spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the showers had good water pressure! I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Grantown-On-Spey and the surrounding areas!"

"The property was excellent (does have about 12 concrete steps up to it) and as described EXCEPT for the completely misleading location advertising. The property is NOT in the town advertised on Hotels.com. It is actually 15 minutes drive away from Grantown on Spey. Don’t be fooled by this. Otherwise the apartment itself was excellent."

"Definitely a quirky cottage with some sloping floors, mixed crockery and cutlery and some old pans.BUTAlso warm and homely with everything needed for a lovely stay. The bed was comfortable (and maybe almost new), the shower was hot and powerful, the wifi was good, the fire was great (although the house was warm enough without it) and the location was excellent.If you prefer a charming but quirky cottage to a boring cookie cutter apartment you won't be sorry"

"Lovely accommodation, ideal for Granton and the surrounding area, no issue with parking outside. House was lovely and clean and did the four of us well for the week. Good communication from the host. One issue with the upstairs toilet but we were informed prior to arrival and it was fixed after a couple of days. "
