"This hotel is special. It is beautifully appointed and the service sets the standard for excellence. It’s beyond 5 stars. Our room and view were lovely and very clean. The property has wonderful spaces to relax outside. The breakfasts were extraordinary. The staff and the owners were warm and tended to our every need with great care and thoughtfulness. They were gracious hosts. We cannot recommend Don Alfonso 1890 highly enough."

It is aptly named - it truly is an oasis. It’s in a beautiful spot with spectacular views. And the food is sumptuous. But what sets it apart is the kind, attentive and welcoming staff. "The suite was spacious and nicely decorated. The hotel breakfast had many different dishes and a nice seating area. The balcony in the room led to a beautiful sea view. The area around teh hotel was filled with restaurants/cafes a busy walking area next to the sea. The hotel employees were very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Naples."
