"If you’re looking for a no frills affordable place to stay and in Ucluelet / Tofino area the Canadian Princess is just fine. The staff are lovely and helpful and the location on the marina is convenient. If you’re traveling with a larger group on a budget the communal kitchen may appeal. Dog friendly was a bonus. Pros: bathrooms are updated, towels are nice and new, marina views from all rooms. Top floor loft rooms are spacious. Cons: dated building with very thin walls, bottom floor room had ground water damp leaking into room (staff moved us to another room but suspect this room has an on going issue with flooding). No daily cleaning but can get coffee, TP and towels etc from the office. If we stayed here again we would book the 3 bed loft room. "

"The location is great - close enough to the town centre, yet close to the nature, quiet (there was a construction going on around the property but noise was not disturbing). A bit noisy from the foot steps above. The room was nice and clean, and we felt a pressure to clean up after us. "

"Lovely little cabin, 20 mins walk to Ucluelet centre. Perfect for a visit to the Wild West coast. The beds are comfortable, the place stylish and clean and has everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Terri, the host was easy to communicate with - responsive and friendly. Would recommend!"
