Romantik Hotel in Ammergau Alps from NZ$237

What a great location and Great Hotel. The rooms are excellent.

Very luxurious. Town, shops, other restaurants and the train stations for the ski slopes are all within walking distance.

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel reception was very good and although we were well ahead of the official checkin time gave us a room straight away. Very welcome for a couple of weary travellers. The area around the village of Ettal is very scenic and interesting with the large " Kloster" across the road and several of King Ludwig's castles including Neuschwanstein and villa Linderhof within an easy drive. We found the food in the restaurant very good and the buffet breakfast had excellent...

We drove from Salzburg to Switzerland via Reutte as a scenic route off the main motorways. The Hotel Moserhof at Breitenwang, near Reutte, was an unexpected highlight of our tour, from the minute we walked into this hotel it was everything we expected and more. It was clean, comfortable, with outstanding decor and character, and good dining at a reasonable price.

Great location, close to "Fairytale Castle'. Breakfast was nice. Didn't have much contact with staff, but very pleasant when we did.

Beautiful location overlooking Abbey was unexpected. Staff extremely friendly. Dinner in restaurant was excellent and holy recommended even if not staying in hotel. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Glad we made choice to stay at Blaue Gams on our drive along Alpine Drive.

NICE LOCATION: FRIENDLY SUPPORTIVE STAFF: CENTRAL LOCATION TO OTHER POPULAR TOURIST SIGHTS - MOST SHORT DRIVING OR WALKING DISTANCE: But in heat conditions rooms could use airconditioning. Nice touch is free or discounted prices to other places when staying here.
