"We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

"A real wow location, in a characterful old water mill. A wonderful piece of France, with plenty too see, eat and drink within an easy drive along pot-hole free roads. The Domaine de Cande was especially interesting, the location of the Traitor King's (Edward VIII) marriage to Mrs Simpson by a corrupt clergyman in 1937."

"We arrived very late as our flight was delayed and then we were stuck in Paris traffic. Lawrence was very kind to keep a parking spot for us next to the rental apartment so it would be easier for us to unload our luggage. When we asked him if there are any supermarkets open to buy some food for late dinner Lawrence said that supermarket was already closed then, to our surprise, he brought us some food from his house so we could have dinner! "We absolutely loved this place! Everything was neat and clean, perfectly posh for our family. We loved that we were a little outside of the city but close enough to hop in our rental car and visit the Sunday market and shops. It was our favorite home rental during our stay in France. The owner was gracious and helpful with any questions we had. If we ever get back to Amboise, we will be staying here again!"

"We had an excellent stay at Ballan-Miré. The house is really nice and well furnished, including towels and tea towels, BBQ, outside seating etc. The beds were done on arrival which is really appreciated. The house was clean and a good size, with two large bathrooms. The garden is big and really nice and sunny. WiFi is working well. There is a large supermarket 5 min drive away. No shops at walking distance. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and discreet. Overall a very positive experience! "

"We have all had an amazing time at this property. Stephanie was fantastic with communication in the run up to our trip, and once we arrived we couldn't have had a better time. The location was ideal and there was plenty of space for all of us to relax and spend time together. I miss it already!"
