"You must stay here if you want a Heritage Property rather than a generic hotel. Previous reviews online mention... Swimming Pool - No damage to any tiles and is spotlessly clean. Dated Rooms and plumbing - All the rooms have now been refurbished and are beautiful. A wonderful mix of historical designed furniture with modern amenities. Cleanliness - The property is spotlessly clean. Flyover / road - Yes this is ugly, no getting away from it. But we were not disturbed by any noise and it doesn't impact on your view because it's above property height. It has been built directly over the old road. It provides welcome shade when out walking and means the traffic isn't going past the hotel. Do not let it out you off. Beach - You can't swim here. The tides are too strong. But the beach comes alive with locals and stalls in the evening and is wonderful. If you want to swim use the hotel pool. Location- Superb location for exploring the local area."

"The staff is the real charm. Very helpful. The mattress are too soft. I think hotel can improve this. Over all we had great time. The beach is very near to the cottages, you have to wallk like 100 meters to reach. Internet was slow. Badminton rackets are in bad condition. Cycles are not there, which we read that they would be there."
