"We had a great half term stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean, the furniture v comfortable, the beds were firm and 100% cotton sheets, wifi great. The view is wonderful, sunsets every night and a balcony to sit and watch the world go by. Remember to bring your binoculars! The position of the apartment is fantastic, no need to use the car, unless visiting nearby attractions, which are numerous. We hope to be back :-)"

The interior is even more magnificent, well-maintained, and above all, equipped with everything you need... meticulously crafted. The only downside is the very narrow road leading to it; unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it... but...

"A comfortable clean compact cottage in an incredible location close to Hartland Quay and Hartland Point, the only minor issue being the sharp entry and exit to and from the drive. "On arrival, the staff were really helpful and polite. Parking was conveniently situated across the road from the hotel. The room and bathroom had a cosy feel with lots of character and was nice and clean. The beautiful sitting room was a lovely space to relax. We ate in the bar area and the food was very good, as was breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again."

"The hotel is a bit dated but the welcome was very warm and helpful, the room was clean, we literally wanted somewhere to sleep for the night and we only paid £59 for a large double room - could have paid slightly extra for a better view but we really didn't need that - we arrived in the dark and left early. Staff very friendly and helpful recommending places to eat etc."

"Stayed for one night en route to a North Devon holiday. The room was excellent, spacious, clean and well laid out. A very comfy bed meant a good night's sleep. Bathroom even had a bath. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a very good meal. Breakfast was also excellent with a great choice all freshly cooked. Plenty of easy parking and outdoor space. Definitely worth staying and would do so again."
