In the morning, take your first cup of coffee out to the water to savor while the world wakes up around you. Spend the afternoon on the bay or head out to explore Mount Major State Forest just behind the building. After an adventure, come back to enjoy a quiet read on the comfortable sofa or head into the kitchenette to get crackin' on a delicious meal. You'll find a full-size refrigerator, counter space, and even a four-burner stove to help you prepare something special before you head out again. The dining table seats three, perfect for intimate conversation and good card games. The shared gas grills will make for some delicious barbecue on those hot summer days, and you can take advantage of the free WiFi to post your best memories to your social media or download a good playlist to your device.

Nice place

The location was great, everything is close by. We didn’t have to go to the public beach either, there was a private beach at the bottom of the walkway. We will be staying there again!

Hidden Gem!

This motel room had a dated look, BUT the view and price made this truly a glorious hidden gem! Just a few steps from your room there is a gorgeous view of the lake. The grounds of the motel are meticulously taken care of. Inside the room there is a full fridge and little kitchen set up, which was very helpful! The shower pressure was phenomenal! If you love the outdoors and appreciate a nostalgic feel, this is the place for you!

We loved staying at King Birch! The location was awesome between Meredith/Gilford & Wolfeboro so easy to get anywhere. The room was nice enough with good amenities & was clean on arrival. There’s a dock you can go in the water from which we loved. Neighbors were all quiet & parking was easy. Overall I’d recommend to anyone wanting some time away on the lake!

This was a beautiful spot on the water. Very nice grounds

This is a great place to stay for a couple nights. The room was very clean and we had everything we needed. If your looking for a private spot this might not be the place. Only because the rooms are close together and when you sit outside the room and everyone else is sitting out it is not private. But if you don’t mind having other people close around you it shouldn’t be an issue. Everyone was very nice and we enjoyed meeting new people. The price was reasonable and it really is a beautiful spot on beautiful grounds. I’d definitely stay again but I would like to rent the one cottage on the water as it gives you a little more privacy than in the rooms. Anyway I’d suggest to anyone to stay here and that they won’t be disappointed Thanks for a great stay. See you soon 😊
