"This was our 4th stay at The White Lion. It was amazing as always. Such a fab location. Lovely staff, fabulous breakfasts and gorgeous room. The rooms are constantly upgraded and all little home comforts are available. Comfy beds, great toiletries, tea, coffee, chocolate and cookies. We just love it here which is why we keep coming back."

"The Fold is excellent for visiting Hebden Bridge and surrounding area. Added bonus is free parking and access to the town along the canal path. The accommodation has everything you need for your stay including a bistro style table and chairs outside the property which we were lucky to use in this current heatwave. Highly recommend and good communication with the owner."

"Room basic but clean. Facilities are slightly tired but adequate. The only slight complaint was that the shower was not much more than a dribble but the water was warm. Staff helpful and friendly. Note: Hebden Bridge is hilly and the hostel is up the hill from the town centre. It is not that far and should not put you off using the hostel"

"Paul was a great host,contacted me via WhatsApp on arrival. Lovely clean house,ideally positioned for the centre of Hebden Bridge,friendly people, streets can seem a tad scruffy on first impression, rubbish & bins outside the back doors,etc, but they are narrow,old, cobbled streets/terraces,& you can totally understand why they’re chosen for many filming locations.A rotary washing pole positioned on the back street, meant we couldn’t gain entrance to park our car after going out for the day, but it was soon rectified by knocking on the residents door who happily moved it so we could drive up the cobbled street & park outside the back door of number 6.Just a few things we noticed about the house, all the internal wooden doors have cracks down the centre,no small bin in the bedroom, no hooks on back of bedroom or bathroom doors,no hook or towel hoop for a hand towel next to the sink in the main bathroom,no hand towel in the downstairs toilet,we used one from the single bedroom ,no extra pillows, but these things didn’t distract from us having a great stay, & we have no hesitancy in recommending,"
