"Beautiful quaint boutique hotel in central Altea. Walking distance from Old Town, promenade and shopping. Lou, front desk/concierge/everything-in-one, was fantastic. The food in the restaurant was stellar with great service. The room was very nice. Comfy pillows."

"The service (Stephanie and others) was outstanding! They made us feel welcome from the moments we walked in the door. The welcome glass of cava was a lovely surprise. We sat on the rooftop terrace one afternoon and felt quite spoiled when the delivered wine to us even though we were quite happy to carry it ourselves. We felt quite spoiled! The room was clean and lovely and the bed and pillows were extremely comfy. We will definitely return next year. A wonderful time in Altea! "

"Brilliant area "

"Staff were very helpful when they were around. The foyer was very nice and so was the terrace. We booked a Duplex room and were disappointed, it was quite dark and small . Photos are very deceptive. There is hardly any storage and we had the leave the clothes in the suitcase for the whole 5 nights. The bathroom had nowhere to hang towels . The walls are very thin in the adjoining rooms and we were kept awake we the noise from the other guests. Unfortunately we wouldn’t return "

"Rooms were large. Breakfast was great, however, for a 5 star hotel, not having a proper coffee machine in the room (powdered coffee and kettle provided, breakfast starts at 8 am) is not acceptable. Furthrmore, wifi in the rooms was so weak and poor, could not log in (had to go to reception to do so), and then could not upload normal apps like IG. Hotel reception were aware of this problem, so ongoing for a while. Also could not watch Netflix on iPad. TVs in the room are not smart TVs, not good enough for a 5 star hotel. Staff were all friendly and pleasant though. Would not stay here again. "

"Wonderful hosts, very helpful and attentive. Apartment is in a lovely position, overlooks the sea and true to the photos and only a 15 minute (flat) walk to the main town. The secure parking is a real bonus as is having a lift in the building. Ideal place for a couple."
