Great hotel in centre of Alta
This is a great hotel right in the centre of Alta, close to the cathedral. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was great. I’d definitely stay again.

Nice hotel with good location
Everything was perfect. Breakfast were really goog. We just didn't realized that the pool and sauna is across the road and is extra paid. Hotel is offering discount 100NOK

Not so clean
When we checked in to our room and my wife pulled the comforter off the bed, there was what appeared to be blood small stains both on the sheet and comforter. I called the front desk, that immediately got us another room.

Good room, but don't expect good service
Room was large and nice, but a bit expensive. Parking is limited, so arrive early if you need to park. Breakfast starts late, and it was no way they would let us in early, even though we could see the food sitting there. Lousy service for such a high price.

Find black hairs in the bed and on the washing soap in the shower. No fridge in the room. No coffee or tea as well or water. Was trying to watch the movie and the signal tv was disappearing several times.

Scnadic Alta is centrally located in the city center. Property is good and staff is friendly and courteous. They have a good breakfast buffet. Only complain I have it the rooms are way too small. Felt like being in cruise bunkers.

Scandic Alta is conveniently located at the city center in Alta, with shopping and dinning options around. Hotel is good and staff is friendly. Breakfast is good too. Only complain I have is the rooms were way to small. Also no coffee maker or refrigerator in the room.

Wonderful stay at the Scandic Alta
We loved the comfort of the Scandic Alta. The beds were soft and comfortable. The room temperature was ideal. The hotel has breakfast included with the stay. The food was excellent, and the variety of dishes was also very diverse.

Our stay at Scandic Alta was very pleasant. We just needed a place to crash for the night so we didn't spend a ton of time there but it was exactly what we needed. The area was pretty dead since it was the day before New Years Eve but the hotel was comfortable enough with good breakfast in the morning. The staff was attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

Great value hotel
Friendly staff with great service, clean rooms, full breakfast buffet meant we could skip lunch every day (a huge plus given how expensive things are in Norway!). Tea, coffee and sparkling water are provided in the foyer and guests can help themselves. No microwave in the rooms, but kitchen staff were every happy to help us microwave our dinner.
