Wouldn’t recommend staying. Not a quiet place to stay nothing to do with hotel residents but maybe hotel bar downstairs. people outside (-15 degrees) shouting and screaming at each other until police turned up.

We stayed here 3 nights. First- if you are considering going to Alta- do it. This was our favorite location during our two week trip to Norway. The "downtown" area is one pedestrian street the equivalent of 4 blocks. The Canyon sits almost right in the center. There is an indoor shopping center almost across from the hotel which gave us some nice escape from the cold. Anything you may need is there- it was also just fun to walk around. The hotel is very nice with a wonderful restaurant on the first floor, that also served free breakfast. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. The staff was wonderful and helpful. If you are going to Alta and are looking for a great place to stay you will not be disappointed in the Canyon

The drain in the shower was clogged and some small things were broken. But compared to the price, I was really satisfyed during my stay in Canyon Hotel.

Nice surprise
Centeral location. Very comfortable and beautiful rooms. Very afficient service There is a big parking place nearby. You have to pay part of the day.

I really liked the code in the main door and rooms for ease of entry and check in. Getting to the point of receiving the code wasn’t as easy. I had to reach out to Expedia to assist as the instructions for check in were to reach out to the hotel before arrival so I messaged through Expedia since we had no other contact info and didn’t receive a response. A little nerve wracking in the midst of international travel. Once expedia reached out to the hotel and provided an email address we did eventually get what we needed and it was very seamless.

Savnet en vanlig tv. Gamle folk bruker i liten grad Chromecast. Savnet også vanlig melk til frokost, samt at drikke ikke ble oppbevart kaldt

Det gikk en time og vel så det før vi kunne kle av oss skikkelig panelovn var slått helt av så det gikk lang tid før det ble varmt på rommet Resturangen var også kald og veldig skarp lys ifra fancye lys i taket.

Alt var helt topp ved mitt opphold på Canyon Hotell.. stort flott og rent rom.. Bortsett fra at de 2003 IKKE har tv.. Men KUN Chromecast det holder ikke. Det var meget skuffene

For short stay ok!
Room booked for one night. Check-in went smoothly, room quickly located, it was clean. The beds are small. Instead of single beds, we got small queen-size bed. The neighbors can be heard very well, not only when sexual activities are taking place. I would only spend a maximum of one night here, for longer stays, I'd choose a different hotel.

Das Zimmer wurde vor dem Bezug nicht oder nur mangelhaft gereinigt und das Fenster von unserem Zimmer ging direkt zur Lüftung des angrenzenden Restaurants hinaus. So roch es die ganze Zeit nach frittiertem Essen im Zimmer. Sonntags waren ausserdem sogut wie alle Restaurants, die man zu Fuss erreichen konnte, geschlossen.
