Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Plenty of parking. Nice decor, looks fresh and quality.
Only 1 minor niggle, the boiler noise was a bit loud during the night but earplugs provided! lol.

Very welcoming, lovely friendly staff with good food.
Had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely go back
A beautiful Inn, the food is amazing, the staff are very personable. The rooms are cozy and clean, all in a beautiful setting. The grounds (gardens) are very pretty and the who area is picturesque.
So quiet and all staff were lovely and friendly and meal and breakfast was amazing best I’ve had for years. Perfect stay and easy drive to watercress illluminations Xmas train and Winchester Xmas market.
Lovely stay in a really beautiful area … really quaint Inn with good rooms though housekeeping could be a little more thorough as some cobwebs in room but overall it was clean … fab breakfast … staff very good nothing too much trouble
Lovely country pub with courtyard rooms. Comfortable and quiet.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Lovely old inn with much character and pleasant surroundings. Helpful staff. Dinner menu was limited but the quality was high. Visit slightly spoilt by a breakfast which had good ingredients but was stone cold.
Cannot find fault. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and beautifully furnished. Real coffee in room a huge tick! Breakfast was delicious and gluten free catered for so well

Cosy and pleasant stay
Lovely breakfast! Room was cosy, 3.5/5. Stayed in a ground floor room, a lot of noise from upstairs and late and early hours which was a shame. There was a rather large group of adults staying so we assumed they were in the rooms above.
Iron and hairdryer in rooms!
Radiator in rooms also so wasn’t cold.
Tea and coffee making facilities with free bottles of water was a lovely touch.
The woolpack has a lovely welcoming atmosphere.. The food was excellent.. both evening meal and breakfast where cooked beautifully.. To be perfect they just need to get fine details addressed which was mentioned to the manager .. but they we’re not major issues
Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful part of the countryside …

We stayed in the family room which was a good set up for us but annoyingly they did not get our messages about non feather bedding which made arrival stressful and the lack of room management was obvious. The rooms themselves were fine but the bathroom was tired and felt a bit grubby in places. You can also hear other rooms quite clearly. The food was very good and we had a lovely family lunch there the following day. So a mixed bag!
Beautiful place set in a great location for peace but close enough to the bustle. Staff are amazing and felt more like ‘home ‘. . I’ve employ them all. Bar. Restaurant . Management. Food was superb. Parking easy and beautiful building. Rooms modern but somehow felt ‘right’ for the era. Only negative is rooms are small and a sleeping head is very close to WC . Problem not for most but I get up a lot. The joint on bed was noticeable but just meant could not cuddle. Would definately stay again however as the positives outshone the minors.

One night stopover on longer trip
One night stopover the restaurant was comfortable, the staff were attentive, friendly and efficient and the food was glorious best pappardelle I’ve tasted and that’s saying something the breakfast in the morning was also very good with high quality tasty ingredients and the coffee was also very good ! We wish we could say the same for room but unfortunately small and the green light above door which we appreciate is a safety requirement kept us awake most of the night, the bathroom was also tiny and in need of updating and a good thorough clean, the shower was very temperamental and didn’t really get that hot! There was also several dark marks on the white bedding which looked like hair colour etc this was a shame because it let down the excellent food and staff experience!
Beautiful place, comfortable room with an excellent shower
Food at breakfast, Sunday lunch & evening meal was delicious and superbly served and thought out
Staff were absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. We would definitely recommend the Woolpack to anyone visiting the area
