Absolutely perfect accomadtion. Exceptionally clean and well decorated. Very easy check in and out. Would definitely stay again! There was a super friendly kitty that made our stay extra happy.
Everything was clean, well stocked and as described. We stayed over night at this location so we could go to Balmorhea SP & Davis Mountain. Nice set up for a small family or couples stay & host was exceptional when called upon.
We had a very nice time staying here after day trips to Big Bend, McDonald observatory, and visited Historic Alpine. The house was fully equipped for all our needs! We enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets as well as the wildlife in the yard! Thank you so much for being a great host!
This was a great place to stay while we visited Big Bend. My first time staying in a tiny home and me and my teenage children really enjoyed it. Kimberly was a fantastic host and she is exceptional at communicating ahead of our trip and during our stay. Best I've ever seen!
I enjoyed my stay very much! Everything about this process was so easy. Great communication from the host, everything with the cottage was as advertised and the cottage was cozy and very comfortable and checkout instructions were well communicated. Many thanks for an excellent weekend!
We had a wonderful time staying at Casa Paloma. The tiny house was just perfect - cozy and inviting! Just the right amount of space and charm.
The property was set off the neighborhood road a bit, so you felt like there was more room than expected. The views from each kitchen window were terrific - the front captures the sunrise and the back the sunset - just brilliant.
Any visitor will not be disappointed!
Casa Paloma was the perfect start to our new tradition of traveling for the holidays! The layout was perfect for a tiny home and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the indoor electric fire and the outdoor wood fire each night. The sunrise and sunset views were beautiful and the stars were spectacular. We rented this place to be close to Big Bend, which was perfect. I liked the small town feels, bringing me back to my hometown in Michigan. Food recommendations (although most places weren’t open during the Christmas break): Bock Burgers, Bread Garden Bakery, Cedar Coffee (try the ube latte) and Penny’s diner.
We’re ending a week long vacation in west Texas. We stayed in multiple locations with this being our last stop. Talk about a home away from home. It’s literally perfect. This tiny home is comfy, cozy, and feels like an oasis of rest. I can’t believe how lucky we are to stay here. The host knew exactly what they were doing in decorating while making it an experience to unwind. Attention to detail is apparent. We found our spot everytime we visit Alpine or west Texas in general.
This little Casita was absolutely precious. I am a woman traveling alone with two dogs, and so appreciated the decor and ease for my pups with the great outdoor space. I took pictures so I could copy the decorating! 😁 proximity to town is practically nothing,Sazzon restaurant had the best vegetable tacos ever! The hosts were responsive, the place was clean, the stars and moon were like I’ve never seen before! Marfa was just a short drive away for a change of pace. Highly recommend!
This tiny home was exactly what we were looking for while we stayed the night in Alpine. Everything was as expected and even better. Communication with Kimberly was great. The only thing I’d say is that the outside tables are a bit small for tall people and they were a bit loose but overall still a great little outdoor area and we took advantage of the fire pit which was great too! The water heater for the shower is a bit tricky as well so maybe some instructions on that and the AC would be helpful. All in all a fantastic stay!
The stay here was very cozy and cute! Very much pet friendly! It did talk about having a dog park area and we never saw or found it but still good for dogs! The tiny house was well decorated and had all you need minus a stove top just so you know and our only request is for a fan air to reach the bed area. With Texas so hot, we like it cool at night and that was the only downfall. Was still comfortable and otherwise a great retreat for us to see Marta and all it has to offer!
Great host and communication as well!
Very nice and neat. Kinda dark surroundings after sunset which made coming and going difficult to see steps. Would not recommend for handicapped. Also air conditioner was opposite end of house from bedroom. Host was most helpful.
What a great hidden gem! We fell in love with this casa. It was so clean. It was so cute. It was perfectly homey.
Check out was beyond easy which left a good taste in our mouth on top of the great experience. (Why don't more hosts do it this way?) Kimberly was so personal and friendly. The Hostess with the Mostest. :)
(the drive down was a little sketchy but felt completely safe on the property. )
We are coming back in the summer and CANNOT wait!
Thanks for being amazing, accommodating and affordable for my family.
A very nice place to stay in Alpine. The owners did a great job decorating and stocking the cabin. Great location for a fire and stargazing. Close to Big Bend.
We loved this place! Not only is it easy to get to and perfect for a stay, it's decorated so well and is super clean. We would definitely recommend it if you're headed to Big Bend or surrounding area.
Great place to stay. Great communication. Very comfortable and cozy. Close to some fun, and unexpected (marfa lights), things to do. Would definitely stay here again.
My family (3) stayed for the Memorial Day weekend in this little gem. It was exactly as it was described on the VRBO site. The communication was excellent and our questions were answered immediately. The views were great. When we come back to West TX we will be staying here again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
This bnb met my expectations and superseded what I expected. Our host was the most helpful and attentive to our needs. I would definitely consider staying here again!!!
We were very pleasantly surprised with our accommodations at the chic tiny home. It was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The owner should be very proud of what she has built. With that said, my wife and I would not hesitate to recommend the accommodation. She even has two yurts which looked very interesting!
