Charming cottage offering peace and tranquillity in small hamlet, ideal location for discovering Northumberland with it's many attractions, stunning countryside and beautiful uncrowded beaches. Every effort is made for you to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay in the well maintained accommodation, with lovely gardens and summerhouse. Please note, free on street parking is available approx 100m away, as access to the cottage by vehicle is limited. Many guests have already returned for repeat visits since we began letting the property in 2011. Please contact owner for last minute reductions on 07947 789217

Spring break in Northumberland

Cottage was cosy and well appointed. Very well placed for visiting historic sites of Northumberland and the coast. We enjoyed beautiful sunny but very cold days. Would certainly recommend this cottage and its location.

Dog Daisy Cottage Northumberland

We had a great stay. The cottage is peaceful and tranquil . With a beautiful garden and views of the hills beyond It's a perfect base for visiting attractions, beaches, country side walks and the convenience of Alnwick for independent shops and restaurants Correspondence with the owners was great, a welcome basket was provided and the cottage was very clean and cosy

Cosy cottage is an excellent description the cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The conservatory is a lovely room to relax in. Parking is on the road a short walk away not by the house.

Perfect cottage

The cottage was quaint, cosy and so clean. There were extra little touches and lots of amenities inclused to make it home from home. Perfect location to explore lovely Northumberland

Beautiful cottage in peaceful surroundings

We had a lovely, relaxing stay. The cottage garden was beautiful and we enjoyed the peace abd tranquility of sitting out, listening to the birds. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped and a great base for exploring Northumberland.

Cosy hide away

Beautiful little cottage. Me and my husband took our dog away for a few days in January '25 and this was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was warm and spacious with a view of the garden. The kitchen had everything that you could need and the fire was great to settle down infront of after a long day exploring This was a good base for exploring Northumberland.

Dogdaisy Delight!

Such a gorgeous cottage, clean, calm and tranquil. Really nicely presented with super quality interiors which was so appreciated. We wanted for nothing and the extra touches of little chocolates, breakfast basket and tissues we wonderful little touches.We stayed with our two dogs and they loved it. So many beaches to walk in the day and a cosy log burner by night. We will certainly come to DogDaisy again.

The cottage is amazing and one of the best we’ve stayed in. The location is perfect for exploring both countryside and coast. So many great reviews so all I’ll say is, if you’re thinking about it, book it! You definitely won’t regret it!

Beautiful cottage and garden

The cottage is very private and quiet with a beautiful garden. We had a lovely time as it was so pretty and comfortable. The area offers lots to do and is also a reasonable drive to the wonderful Northumberland coast. Would be keen to return.

Lovely cottage in a very good location

Great base for exploring the area. Cottage good size for two, especially bedroom and bathroom. Conservatory great place to eat at night. Lovely and spacious garden, which we were able to use a little - Great British weather! Would recommend to others.

Dog daisy cottage

Beautiful cottage situated in Glanton. Very quiet village but close to other towns and attractions. Great enclosed garden. Lovely welcome pack. Logs and coal available for the log burner. Only downside is no onsite parking, but parking is closely available at top of street.

Hidden Gem

Lovely little cottage set in a tranquil setting with views across to the hills. Enclosed yard, great for the dogs. Close to Alnwick and the coast. Second visit but definitely won't be our last. Thanks to Debbie for the great communication. Can't wait for our next visit to this hidden gem.

Sleepy village of Glanton

Fabulous cottage tucked away in a little corner of peace and tranquility. The owner has made this cottage very tasteful and welcoming. The decor and furniture perfect. Lovely cottage garden full of birds which fed from the feeders. Gorgeous bathroom, shower spot on. The area is so beautiful. We are so lucky having such a scenic coastline. We visited the local villages and towns. Much to see. Bamburgh, Seahouses for fish and chips, Alnwick castle,Chillingham castle, Warkworth castle. So interesting. We even visited the site of the battle of Flodden. So atmospheric if you like that sort of thing. To top it all we were left a very generous welcome basket. Thank you to the owner.
