Excellent small hotel with excellent staff willing to help with anything. Only comment for improvement… the beds are rock hard - need some soft toppers.

Very warm welcome Room was ideal and bed very comfortable The terrace was a super place for a beer overlooking the bay Opted for the breakfast and very pleased I did!

Great bed in a large and spacious room. Hotel needs updating and some tlc. Very steep road on entry would make access difficult for anyone with limited mobility.

Beautiful boutique hotel
What a beautiful boutique hotel. Its such a treat to find hotels and staff like this. From the minute we met Antonio and his wife at check in we knew this hotel was special. They were so pleasant and helpful. We were just sorry we only stayed one night on our journey through Spain. but promise to return for a longer stay.

Stayed for 2 nights at La Tartana. Very relaxing stay, pretty little hotel, beautiful terraces etc. Welcome change after staying in a large chain hotel. Close to beach and well-rated restaurants in town. Owner very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Definitely recommend.

Back in time.
I loved staying here. I felt safe, loved and part of the "family" immediately. The staff called me by name and was always ready to help with everything; boarding passes, stubborn safes, refills of delicious wines and suggestions for activities. I especially loved all the wonderfully cozy places inside and outside to read relax meet others. The restaurant was the best! Wonderful food prepared exquisitely and beautifully presented. The bread was freshly baked daily and the olive oil locally produced could not have been better. The wines were lovely and could be nicely pared with each course. My grandsons enjoyed all the meals especially the dessert sampler. Check out the wonderful cookbook area near the bar. Would definitely only stay here. I travel alone or occasionally with grandchildren so I am careful about where I stay. This was a great place for me. Enjoyed the short walk into the town, and the beautiful views from the dining terraces of la Tartana.

Fantastic the owners& the staff were terrific nothing was a problem to them we will defiantly be returning to La Tartana.the rooms were spotless & very stylish a pleasure to return to after a day out the air con worked very quietly & efficiently Then we come to the food we dined three nights in a row & could not fault anything the chef has to be congratulated the food was perfect .This was no ordinary stay for us as it was our golden wedding & my wife's birthday so we wanted every thing to be right & it was including a very special golden wedding cake which had been made especially for our special night. El lugar es simplemente increíble y acogedor. Y los dueños y Nala muy amables. El acceso es a pie de carretera, pero a 5 minutos a pie de la playa. Muchas gracias!

Underbart att sitta på terrassen och se solnedgången. Nära till busshållplatsen. Frukosten god. Personalen mycket vänliga och hjälpsamma. Hade önskat att rummen varit uppvärmda när vi anlände sent och väldigt trötta en januarikväll.

El hotel es un hotel pequeñito de 8 habitaciones con unas vistas preciosas, un trato exquisito por parte de los propietarios Antonio y Evelyn , además destacar que Evelyn es una excelente Chef elabora platos con productos de calidad y proximidad los elabora con mucho cariño ,se nota al degustarlos estan deliciosos.!! Si pensáis ir a la Herradura os recomiendo este hotel 100x100 Agradecerles toda la atención que han tenido hacia nosotros a Antonio y Evelyn

Hotel sympa évoquant plus une chambre d'hôte. Situė en dehors du village au dessus de la route du littoral (un peu bruyant a certaines heures fenêtres ouvertes). Très bon accueil par le couple anglais qui tient l'hôtel. Repas originaux avec des saveurs andalouses et marocaines. Seul pb: on ne sert pas le petit déjeuner avant 9h15... Il faudrait aussi que les hoteliers indiquent que le patio sur lequel donnent toutes les chambres n'est pas un fumoir où l'on discute jusque tard dans la nuit...

Hotel con personalidad.
Hotel con encanto, ideal para una escapada romántica. Las habitaciones estaban muy bien decoradas, con multitud de detalles. En general es un hotel que recomendaría a cualquier pareja que quiera pasar un fin de semana romántico. De lo mejor, el desayuno, croissant deliciosos y zumo de naranja natural y recién exprimido. Tan solo una cosa negativa, para ir desde el hotel a la playa andando hay que cruzar la nacional 340, y es un poco peligroso.
