This hotel is well located with proximity to several attractions in walking distance.
The hotel is nice, but can be so much better. Firstly, my pickup reached 45 mins
The maintenance is crumbling at places. Drawer knobs, showers faucets etc. were falling off and rusted.
Secondly, at check in as they gave me a much smaller room. After me objecting, they checked and moved me to my actual suite room.
Thirdly, for a family paying for 4 individuals and a suite, their daily room housekeeping was poor (providing only 2 small water bottles, having to remind to place tea cups in the room and so on). We had to even remind them once to take out the trash from the room (despite the room having being cleaned).
I extended my 6-night stay by half a day as my flight was late. The manager told me they gave me an expensive room erroneously but actual price was higher. They charged me 70K KZT for the room extension (higher than my original booking rate).
I checked later, the same room was available online much cheaper.
They genuinely try, but very few of the staff speak English to be able to actually help their guests. As they attract more guests, they will need better staff who smile, and who help. The security at the main gate are grumpy and don’t extend a helping hand when they see a family with luggage, small children.
No proper business centre (though it promises one).
