Orford Family Friendly Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely divine - beautiful outlook the house was spacious and warm clean and the amenities - we had everything that we needed. Highly recommend."
"The house is great. Very comfortable and has everything you need. Good location, with walking distance to everything you need in Orford. Table tennis table is a bonus in winter!Would highly recommend. "
"What an absolute privilege to stay in this beautiful home. From the moment you arrive and are warmly greeted by the host and walk into the most expansive view, you know that you are in for a wonderful experience. The house is stunning. The view is exceptional. With all the amenities you need, you don't need to leave the house. Everything was perfect. We loved sitting by the fire, reading, playing cards and drinking one of the many local wines. There is enough to do in the area to keep you busy during the day, with enough time to relax in the house watching the glorious colours of the day change over the water. A truly memorable experience."
"Quirky, friendly historical venue. Everything worked well and although the building is tired, the owners and surroundings made up for it. We booked in for dinner and were provided with a warming, substantial home cooked meal and a Charming hostess. Good selection of wines. Lots of accommodation types available. Close to Richmond (walk or drive) and easy access to other areas. Beautiful scenery and lots of animals that any children would love. "
"The accommodation we stayed in were converted stables. The rooms were well appointed, recently decorated and warm (we stayed in winter). The accommodation is annexed to the hotel. The hotel is the epitome of a country pub with traditional pub fair, eight ball and friendly locals in their seats at the bar. Not a refined experience but everything we were after, we were comfortable, fed well and welcomed."
