"Booked this hotel due to their pool, but upon arrival they said the pool was closed and they had no idea when it would be open. However they still advertise the pool on here and use it as the main image. Since we arrived late we stayed one night but then agreed with the reception that we would cancel the remaining 2 nights and get a refund. "Our street side first level room was appreciated for not requiring us to haul heavy luggage up steps. Convenience to historical sights, cafes and the fish market is a key reason to stay here. The owner was very communicative and willing to help if needed. Nightlife is noisy in Catania, but we slept well despite the noise.
