Stay at a one-of-a-kind house for your one-of-a-kind Algonquin adventure. We the homeowners designed and constructed this house to host friends and family, as well as the new friends we hope to make alonWe are a 8 minute drive to Algonquin Park, a 12 minute walk to Ragged Falls Park, andg the way. Whether you're a large group of friends or one big family, there is plenty of space inside and out for everybody to relax and reconnect. next to endless ATV/snowmobile trails and plenty of nature.

The space
Outside, you will find parking for 6, multi-leveled deck spaces and landscaping within a forested oasis. Take in the surroundings along our garden paths, by the BBQ, or by the fire pit. Access to the Oxtongue River is available through a short but admittedly buggy trail.

Inside, you will find multiple living/cooking/dining spaces, 5 bedrooms with 11 total beds, and 4.5 bathrooms to suit your group's particular needs. Every room enjoys a great view of the surrounding forest, and comes furnished with wood pieces handcrafted from trees harvested on the property.

-Large south-facing deck connects both living/dining/kitchen spaces
-Walkout basement lounge with living and dining areas
-Basement lounge opens up to outdoor kitchen and deck with BBQ hooked up to the house propane tank

-Bedroom A: queen bed and en-suite
-Bedroom B: queen bed, twin bunk beds, and en-suite
-Bedroom C: queen bed and twin bunk beds
-Bedroom D: twin bed on the floor and twin beds on -the loft
-Bedroom E: queen bed and en-suite

-An additional bathroom on the main floor and powder room in the basement
-Laundry room available upon request

-Plenty of outdoor seating areas on the upper and lower deck
-Fire pit area with firewood harvested on site

Guest access
-The road leading to the house is maintained year round by the township
-The host will maintain the driveway, paths, and stairs year round
-Parking spaces for 6 with overflow available
-Check-in: after 3:00 pm
-Check-out: by 10:00 am
-Guests have access to the majority of the house, but some rooms will be locked

Other things to note
One host will be on the premises, but will use entirely separate facilities so guests will not share any spaces with anyone else. Rest assured, you will not be disturbed; but should you require assistance, someone will be happy to help right away! During longer stays, the host will help dispose of garbage and replenish what is required.
