About this property
Large garden, dogs welcome,10 Minutes to Beach, EV charger, solar power, wifi.
Corbiere really is in a central position so you can enjoy the peace of the countryside and the views for miles across the fields to the back of the property. Sometimes the barn owl and weasels can be seen at dusk hunting along the field boundaries.
Corbiere has three bedrooms and offers home comforts such as a Smart TV, two sofas, microwave and washing machine. For guests with mobility needs please be aware that there is a step up into the shower and the drive is rather uneven. It is a compact bungalow and the bathroom is not large. The bedroom have hooks for hanging clothes on and hangers are supplied. It is well equipped for families with games and plenty of open space. There are beach toys and a windbreak to borrow for trips to the beach.
We have sowed an annual meadow in the field next to the garden that you can access from the car parking area for the last 4 years. Please do not let dogs into this area. You are welcome to take a cuppa and sit under the gazebo to enjoy the views across the field. Richard the farmer sometimes has cattle in the field but this year it looks as he's letting it grow for hay.
The long sandy beaches of Huttoft Bank and Anderby Creek are just a 10 minute car drive away. From there you can walk to Sutton on Sea (and even to Mablethorpe if you are feeling very energetic). There are plenty of dog friendly cafes at both seaside resorts and pubs to relax in and for refreshments. Chapel St Leonards has a pub on the beach... just turn right at the top of the access path and walk along... it's not far! It's called the Admiral Benbow.
Sutton on Sea has long sandy beaches to enjoy, a promenade to stroll along and a good variety of pubs, shops and restaurants to try, from the Bacchus Hotel to fish and chips. Children love the large paddling pool sheltered from the sea breeze and there are tennis courts and Petanque to try too. We easily entertained 6 children aged 10 to 18 for 3 days here. It is a quiet resort without amusements or slot machines. The paddling pool and long sandy beach with a lifeguard during the Summer holidays are excellent for young children too. We found that hiring a beach hut was a good idea and gave us a base with a kettle/sink/4 deckchairs from which we could relax but keep an eye on the children at the same time. To hire a beach hut e mail adriansosfirst@gmail.com
Mablethorpe is a larger resort with golden sand, a children’s paddling pool with squirting water features and amusements and rides along the prom. There are donkey rides in the summer and a cinema and Seal Sanctuary if the weather is wet. Linda's cafe in Queen's park sells meals for about £5!
Chapel St Leonards is also popular with families and dog lovers. the new North Sea Observatory at Chapel Point is well worth a visit for the cafe and sea viewing area too. It is on the Round Britain Coastal Path.
Skegness is about 30 minutes drive from Corbiere and has Butlins, Fantasy Island, and a huge variety of amusements, cafes and restaurants to try! You can visit as a day visitor.
For nature lovers, the breeding colony of grey seals at Donna Nook in November and December are a real ‘must’ and well worth trying to photograph. There are also nature reserves at Gibraltar Point (lovely cafe and raised viewing area) and Snipe Dales.
The Lincolnshire Wolds with their rolling hills are only a 25 minute drive away with the lovely market town of Louth to visit. Louth has independent shops, tea rooms and a market on Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays throughout the year. Farmers Markets take place on the 4th Wednesday and 2nd Friday each month.
Corbiere is well located for a family or friends to explore this area. Please contact me if you wish to bring tents to accommodate more people as the garden is big enough for larger groups. The only thing you need to consider is how may people you want to share the one toilet!

I like Mumby, such a sweet village and I was happy to return to Corbiere - dog friendly, kitchen with lots of useful things, small but perfectly formed shower room/wc, 3 bedrooms, helpful managers, spare bedding in case temperature drops. Quiet environment apart from occasional double decker bus.
Brilliant 2nd stay at Corbiere. Lovely bungalow, helpful host and clean compact bungalow that is well cared for and has everything you need. Will definitely be staying again

All I can say is excellent in every way communication location was great accommodation was excellent spotless and cosy at night like home from home so close to different sea side towns and beaches ,gardens were lovely for the dog definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back x
We had a great stay, it was clean and quiet with good facilities and plenty of outdoor space. There were also games for the kids to play. We would like to return in the future.
We have stayed at this property many times over the last few years and find it amazing! We have such a relaxing time and couldn’t ask for more, it has everything you need and with a great pub just up the road that serves excellent meals and drinks. We will be booking again soon. Thanks to Sarah who is a fantastic host.
An immaculate property ..very well equipped … very comfortable .This property is in a beautiful setting looking out across a wild flower meadow and open countryside .It has a large well enclosed garden which was perfect for my little dog ..very safe .Plenty of parking too.To top it all I met Sarah the very lovely host .. all in all a very relaxing and enjoyable stay ..hope to return
Me and my grandchildren had a great stay but had to clear out numerous spiders from every room, outdoor toys provided were all damaged, blind fell down on first night scaring my grand daughter. Location is very good and we would visit the area again
Check in was very easy and it was a good spot to visit the beaches, wolds, Lincoln! One thing I would’ve liked (but I didn’t ask, so it’s on me!) would’ve been some recommendations for good local dog walks for morning walks. But as I say, I didn’t ask!
A very clean and nicely furnished property. The garden was secure, and felt safe for our 3 year old grandson, despite it being on a busy road. Anderby Creek a 10 minute drive away, with a lovely sandy beach.
The property was very clean and comfortable with everything you would need for a short break .
The meadow at the back was very pretty and provided a nice view from the windows
A very tidy and clean place equipped with kitchen essentials. Lovely garden and beautiful meadow to look out at. Very secure for our dog to have a play in the garden and an easy property to access. We had a lovely stay visiting the surrounding areas of Sutton on sea and mabelthorpe.
Fantastic, spotless cottage with lovely garden and space for dog to run around. Every thing you need to enjoy a break away from town life.Near to dog friendly beaches and farm, where you can relax with coffee, ice cream, snacks etc and buy local fresh produce. Amazing,2nd time here and will keep coming back.Thankyou so much
Really enjoyed our week. Garden really secure for our dog who loved it. Well equipped everything we needed. Location good for beaches, pubs. Short drive to convenience store. Friendly area everyone talks to you. Would love to go again. Exactly as described
The bungalow was clean & tidy with appliances to use to help with our time there.
The meadow was beautiful to sit in at sunrise & sunset.
The beach was close by which the kids enjoyed but due to having to cut our stay up there short they didst get a chance to see butlins or the attractions around.
Hopefully can stay again & they can stay longer to enjoy fully .
Many thanks for the lovely stay
Bungalow well equiped and clean.
Nice garden for the dogs, and children safe and enclosed. Good communication with owner Sarah.
A good base to stay, not far from sutton on sea, Huttoft beach. Huttoft car terrace Anderby creek and much more. Enjoyed our stay very much.
Great place. Plenty of room. Clean and tidy. Great for children plenty of toys and play area outside. Great location to go to the beach. We cycled to Mablethorpe and blessed with fantastic weather. The pub in the village had nice good but the manager didn’t like visitors or as he termed them tourists and didn’t make us feel welcome but his loss as we still had a good time at other locations.
Lovely location, with wonderful views. Very much enjoyed the quietness away from all the hussle and bussle. Everything we needed, a little home from home. Good job this little gem isn't on the market, as I think my Dad would of been tempted! Excellent communication skills, easy check in and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend or book again.
Great property. Garden is spacious and well kept. Meadow is beatiful. Loads of space for parking ( 2 to 3 cars ) Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and our dogs loved it. If i had to pick up on anything it would be that it is o a main road and its quite noisy at times but that does not detract from a very nice property.
Another lovely holiday at the lovely corbiere i think it was our 5th time at corbiere.
Corbiere is such a lovely relaxing place with a lovely garden which is very safe for Sally.missed the corbiere red wine this time. Best regards. Garry.
As always the most relaxing and home from home stay. Superb location, clean, warm and inviting with everything you need for the perfect break away from the stresses of everyday life. The meadow and garden offer an abundance of birds and colour all year round. Beaches, shops, pubs, restaurants, villages and attractions are not far away.
Already planning our return. Thank you to Sarah, Shane and Jess x
We had a wonderful time. Very comfortable bed, lovely kitchen and shower room. Wonderfully clean. The meadow garden was lovely, overlooking fields. Outside is a gazebo, two large 6-person picnic benches, outside table & chairs and a sturdy bench. The Wifi was fast and reliable, making streaming Netflix on the large Smart TV effortless. The visitor book in full of wonderful praise for Sarah (the owner) and the cottage - and justifiable so too. Loved it!
We stayed for 2 nights at Corbierre, the host Sarah was fabulous very friendly and good communication. The property was lovely and clean, modern and met all our requirements. The personal touch was greatly appreciated a bottle of red wine, a box of breakfast tea bags and a pouch of coffee, WiFi is excellent and so is the heating system. We stayed during January 2024 and the weather was fine but freezing temperatures, upon arriving the heating had been put on and the bungalow was toasty throughout our stay.
