There was an empty wine glass on the window, sill, the toilet was badly stained ( my daughter didn't even want to use it). The person who took me to my room didn't introduce himself or let us know if we needed help and who to call incase. I felt like we were rushed to our room and we felt like an inconvenience because he had to come out from behind the bar to take us, too our room. WiFi reception was very slow. The bed was comfortable and the location was nice as it was just around the corner from warehouse.

Well for starters the beds horrible mattress to soft and to big for bed blankets to thin pillows horrible No coffee cups supplied nor any milky and sugar wifi was glitchy asf No air conditioning available

They had us booked in for the wrong night and ended up putting us in another room. It was very cold and no warmth. I had to take a blanket off another bed because the room was so cold. Cheap with no value.

Was reasonably cheap. Duvet on bed was disgusting, had stains on it and smelt terrible, blanket in cupboards not much better. Was good to have ensuite in room though.

Simple basic accommodation option
The accommodation is situated next door to the pub, where you check in. The hotel manager was friendly and brought me a second heater for my room without needing to ask (on a very cold winter night). The rooms are very basic as expected, but attached bathroom and shower were fine for my needs (although the shower had very low pressure). A good option for a quick overnight stay if passing through Central Otago.

Excellent value for money. Clean. Recently redecorated rooms. Friendly management. Was really good to have access to guest kitchen and guest lounge. Stayed here whilst doing Central Otago Rail trail. There was a place downstairs to lock the bikes up.

The room was not worth the cost. The shared bathroom is down the hall and the shower was merely a trickle. The coffee was empty in the kitchen. The hallway roof has a plumbing leak. Garden area looks shabby, lawn unmowed and messy.

I had booked and paid for my room on Expedia, but the hotel had double-booked the room. The staff did not apologise. I was given another room, but a smaller one without a view. I could not sleep due to the noise of what sounded like an extractor fan outside. Furniture in the room was either broken or very old e.g. broken springs in the bed. There was no security, as external doors were left open. I would not recommend.

This is an older building but was ok for what we paid for it. We have paid prices for better amenities in other places but it was fine for my wife and I. The staff were fine. Nothing to eat on the establishment.

Economical and Good Choice
The hotel is old but the interior whilst aged is clean and tidy. The ensuites was excellent but a soap holder in the shower would help. Service and friendliness was great. Close to the town centre and the river. I would stay here again.
