LaPerla in Albuquerque
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay again, next time we visit Albuquerque. The property was safe and secure with easy access to Old Town. The patio space was well kept and a great place to sit, relax and hang out. Any issues were handled quickly and efficiently by the host.

Amazing
Very cute and cozy house, down the street from sawmill. The sawmill, dinosaur museum, science museum are just a short walk through a beautiful park. Loved staying there!

Perfect casita!
Checks every box for a five star casita in Old Town. Great location, well appointed, beautiful and private courtyard, comfortable bed, and an awesome host (Rob). The thermostat controlled fireplace was a very nice touch. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect Place & Host!
What a great find! Property was so nice and homey and very clean! with many extras like varieties of coffees and creamers, extra towels and box tissues, beautiful gas fireplace! and a comfy bed! The outdoor patio was very serene and secure! Such a pleasure meeting the host, Rob and his two fur babies! Such a kind man! and his dogs were so sweet and welcoming to my dog Max! Can’t wait to return!

Best host ever!!
The location was perfect for shopping, museum, park. Cute little casita that accommodated 3 sisters. Rob, the host and owner that lives in the main house was johnny on the spot for anything we needed. He even shared a social hour with snacks and wonderful conversation on the patio one evening. I would definitely stay here for any return visits. He is currently in the process of updating the furniture. Go to Lowe’s Country Market on Lomas and 11 Street for your full service grocery needs. It is just a little over a mile away. I believe airport is under 6 miles away.

We so much enjoyed staying at this property. It's overall comfort, it's tucked-awayness, its closeness to so many things to do… The property is truly nice, comfortable, and safe. It is clean and in all, shows pride with excellent appointed features decorated throughout the home. Because it was most tasteful we were comfortable and felt safe. The owners are pleasant and welcoming. Casita is small but larger than it appears in the pictures. Great streaming and WIFI service. Off street parking and security gate allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. Outside patio area was inviting. We appreciated the new washer and dryer.

Great Balloon Weekend!
Phyllis & Rob were wonderful hosts! The vrbo is exactly as listed, great location and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. They were quick on communication and super helpful with local recommendations. Would highly recommend staying at their place!

I could not have had a better experience. Beautiful casita within walking distance of anything in Old Town. The hosts were attentive and knowledgeable about Albuquerque. Lovely evening chats in private courtyard. Would go back in a minute.

Tiny but wonderful
The casita is a gem! What originally sold us about the unit was the enclosed court yard...perfect for our dog , Banks, and for drinks in the afternoon. The kitchen had all the necessities when we wanted to cook at home. The bed was comfy, but be prepared...the shower is small! My 6'3" husband needed to duck to enter! The location is walking distance to all of Old Town, with wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and shops. Most importantly, Phyllis and Rob are great hosts! So friendly and helpful..and patient with Banks! We hope to have the opportunity to stay there in the future! Thanks Phyllis and Rob!

Perfect!!
I LOVED saying at LaPerla!! This is probably the best place I’ve stayed in through VRBO or Air B&B. Location is great and just off the interstate and the casita was so comfortable. It had everything we needed for our 5-night trip. Bed is comfortable with a variety of pillow types and towels & sheets are soft. Phyllis is a very kind host and Aggie provides friendly company.

Perfect Location!
My dog and I were lucky to spend a week in this wonderful place! Very comfortable and well-appointed... I work from home and had great connectivity and there's even a printer. Phyllis is a wonderful host and the location can't be beat.. within a block of museums, a great park, and Old Town where you could spend days exploring the shops (very dog friendly!) and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay... can't wait to come back when the weather is nicer and we can spend more time in the beautiful courtyard.

This was a perfectly located, charming property overseen by two very gracious hosts, Phyllis and Ron, and their sweet doggie, Aggie. It was literally a two-minute walk to the edge of Old Town.

Adorable cottage
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at The La Perla cottage. The cottage was decorated beautifully and very clean. The location is within walking distance of The Old Town Plaza, which has a lot of shops and places to eat. We enjoyed visiting with Rob and their sweet dog Aggie. Thanks for the Peppers. Our dog loved Albuquerque!
The casita exceeded our expectations. The casita was as advertised and the location was perfect for enjoying Old Town and the Mexican restaurants that we love. Phyllis, Rob and Aggie were wonderful hosts and very welcoming to us and our lab. Phyllis even introduced me to a new fabric shop (maybe not a plus for some family members). We certainly hope to return.

Great Old Town Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at the Casita in Old Town. The arrival process was seamless, including directions from our previous location in Santa Fe. The hosts were very friendly and helpful while remaining completely respectful of our privacy and space. The Casita was clean, quiet and well stocked with all the comforts of home. Instructions on the use of appliances and electronic devices were clear and reliable. The location was perfect for all the outdoor activities and meals we had planned. We were able to enjoy the outdoor spaces in front and back of the Casita day and night. We are sure you will have the same pleasant experience we had when you choose this location for your Albuquerque trip.

Outstanding Choice for a Stay in ABQ
Lovely casita near Old Town with wonderful hosts. The property is exactly as described: clean, comfortable, well apportioned, and close to everything in ABQ. Location is a 10 minute drive from the airport and just a few minutes from major highways. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'll need for fixing your own meals (should you decide to avoid the many delicious eateries in the area), excellent wifi is available, and Phyllis has provided a plethora of travel and sightseeing brochures to suit any tastes. I found the bed and pillows very comfortable, much better than most hotel beds I've encountered ( a big deal for me on vacation, especially after a long day of exploring). The neighborhood is safe and serene and within easy walking distance to Old Town. I very much enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to book this property again.

Perfect location and amazing hosts!
I travelled to the Casita at Old Town for a recent business trip and had a wonderful stay. The place is charming and cosy, and Phyllis and Ron were incredible hosts, making sure I had coffee in the morning and going out of their way to accommodate me. The fireplace added to the house's charm, and the kitchen was well-stocked. My only regret was not being able to spend more time there!

Perfect!
I really enjoyed my stay here. La Perla is close to restaurants and shopping and quiet enough to relax at the end of the day. Phyllis and Rob are the nicest people and the most accommodating hosts. I was greeted most evenings by my new furry friend Aggie. I highly recommend this location and would definitely stay here again. PS: have Rob make his spaghetti for you-delicious!

Awesome month in Albuquerque!
We spent the month of December at La Perla. We were so impressed with Albuquerque and it was because of the introductions that Phyllis and Rob gave us to the area. We travel with our wire haired dachshund and therefore life mostly revolves around him. This is not bad. We found great walking trails, great dog friendly restaurants and brewpub. Being in Old town was wonderful, Christmas eve was magical with luminarias lighting up the neighborhoods. The casita was so perfect - cozy, comfortable, clean, with everything we needed for a great stay. Phyllis and Rob had lots of information about the area. We didn't get to see everything...next time!

Charming adobe casita
Our stay during the Balloon Fiesta was magical! Rob and Phyliss were the greatest hosts. Rob shared his tomato's straight from the garden, and it was a real treat to have a picnic lunch on the beautiful patio, with home grown tomato's on our sandwhiches. Phyliss has such a great laugh and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting with her. She was a wealth of knowledge of the area. We couldn't of been more pleased with the great location. Old Town was literally a few houses away. There were many great restaurants in Old Town and the town plaza always had something going on. Loved looking at the wares of the local artists. Loved hearing the live music of the pan flute, so relaxing. The Casita was even more charming than the pictures. It has great character and history. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were luxurious. Water pressure was fantastic, too. I can't forget to mention Abbey, (the lab) she was the sweetest dog, and loved to play catch. We really enjoyed her visits on the patio. I wish I could give 10 stars, as this place surpassed our expectations. LaPerla is a little gem and I would highly recommend to all my family and friends.

BEST host and hostess ever! Rob, Phyllis, & Aggie went over & above making sure we were comfortable.
Beautiful, genuine casita!! Clean and well equipped and maintained for all our needs including that of a spoiled rotten golden retriever! Perfect location to walk to Old Town, parks, and museums. The courtyard was welcoming with gardens, flowers, and trees and our dog was very comfortable with the accommodations as were we. We stayed just over 2 weeks and couldn't have been happier. Host and hostess, Rob and Phyllis, offered valuable tips and recommendations about the area and were very congenial. We would HIGHLY recommend this casita to anyone seeking serenity yet proximity to restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay there again when we travel to Albuquerque. What a wonderful place to stay!!!! The house is charming and truly accomodated family and friends The garden was a wonderful place to visit and enjoy the beautiful weather.. Great month!
We loved staying in the Albuquerque, N.M., casita! Phyllis and Rob were great hosts. They answered many of our questions about the area as we had never been to N.M. before. They gave us privacy and/or conversation whenever we wanted. They even had a great little white lab that played with our sheltie while there! We were in walking distance of Olde Towne, which we enjoyed and walked to frequently. So much rich history not in our history books to investigate. We certainly would recommend staying there. In fact, we plan on going back when the steam locomotive engine is finally fully repaired and begins it's run on the tracks! (My husband, who loves steam engines, discovered this site in Abq.!) We certainly would recommend this property. Thank you Phyllis and Rob!

Comfortable and pet friendly casita within walking distance of Old Town
The guesthouse casita was perfect for our stay during a bike event which started in downtown Albuquerque which was very close by. We brought our dogs and bikes and Phyllis and Rob were very accommodating and made us all feel at home. Upon arrival, we had a minor system glitch with our reservation but once that was cleared up the rest of our stay was perfect and Phyllis and Rob were very apologetic for it. The property has a beautiful courtyard where our dogs could run around in and enjoyed playing with Phyllis and Rob's lab. The casita was comfortable and had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay again.

A slice of Albuqueque and a special home
A warm visit with hosts Rob and Phyllis who provided everything we needed, and then more. A traditional adobe home, just perfect for two, with all the conveniences, with a beautiful garden. We walked the one block to Old Town several times, for fun and food. Any time we return to the area, this is the place to call home for a few days.

Our overall experience was just fabulous. We loved the casita and how it provided all the comforts of home. Also the owners could not have been any nicer. They tended to our every need with patience, kindness and a great sense of humor. They absolutely made us feel comfortable the moment we met them...Phyllis and Rob are definitely in the right business, their people skills are a quality we all should have. I would return/recommend La Perla to all of my friends,family and acquaintances.

Classic casita in the perfect location
I stayed 4 weeks at La Perla and I completely enjoyed my time there. Phyllis and Rob are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming. The casita is an updated, charming place to relax and has all the comforts of home. I recommend this place for a short-term or long-term stay in the Albuquerque area.

Great place to stay!! You won't be disappointed!!!
We rented the month of March 2017. The home was everything we wanted, quiet, comfortable bed, clean and not far to the bike trail. We were only two blocks from Old Town, a five minute walk to the park, restaurants, stores and museums. I felt very safe walking around Old Town and you meet people from all over the country. Phyllis and Rob were such great hosts! It was fun to sit in the yard talking to them and learning all about New Mexico. They gave us so many tips on things to do and places to go. Their pond and little waterfall was so relaxing! The home is just as described and you won't be disappointed. We will definitely rent from Phyllis again!!!
