"This is a wonderful place to stay in the Alpuharra. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and incredible views. The couple who runs it are sweet and kind and considerate. We had dinner and breakfast there which was delicious with all fresh local fare. The property has a nice pool overlooking the mountains. There is a 10 min trail down to the town which has good restaurants and lovely shops. Highly recommended! "

"we booked for 5 nights for our ski trip to Sierra Nevada, it was a great base and Julie was the perfect host. It was much nicer than staying in the ski resort & the village is lovely too. Our room was big and we had a comfortable bed and good shower which is exactly what you need after a days skiing. We arrived late due to a flight delay but Julie was very understanding. We will definitely be back."

"This is a very odd place. Sure it is an old palace but the rooms are in a basement like plant. In the bathroom the hot water took ages and the shover did not work. We were the only guests and therefore they closed the dining-room and the library and half past eight and the only way our was through the emergency door by the kitchen. It is not a recommendable hotel.The surroundings are quit e nice and the park is great, but inside it is not."

"I stayed here over Easter with my family. Overall, we all had a wonderful holiday, but it didn't get off to the best start. At 2am on our first night, we realised we'd been placed on the side of the hotel where there is a dog that barks constantly. My family got little sleep that night, maybe a couple of hours at 6am when it finally stopped. Now, I had already read reviews from others about this barking dog issue, and so 3 weeks before my arrival, I e-mailed the hotel reception, to request a...
