"Friendly, attentive staff. Comfortable bed. Clean rooms. I didn’t use the spa. The gym could use another eliptical machine and a bench press machine, but it’s fairly well equipped. I recommend eating at other hotels and restaurants in the nearby area. Don’t order their pizza under any circumstances. It’s awful. You can walk to the small beach just to the north, and there is a lovely restaurant on the sand. Great spot for lunch or sunset drinks. The hotel beach is public, but was not crowded (Late March) and is beautiful. Breakfast is always a buffet, over priced, and there’s better food nearby. They offer bikes for free, which is a nice touch."

"Lovely superior room overlooking the beach in the Praia hotel (note that there are 2 different buildings, so the cheaper rooms are not on in the beachside building). Fell asleep listening to the waves each night. Be aware that the bathroom ‘wall’ is a half-frosted glass pane (though the toilet is separated). Not an issue if you’re close to the person you’re sharing the room with! Breakfast was good but not great. Worth including at the discounted rate but definitely not worth the €22 on the day! Overall, the rooms are great value for money, and we would stay here again, but only in the superior rooms in the ‘Praia’ hotel. "

"The hotel staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very good with a large choice to suit all tastes. The nearby nightlife goes on well into the early hours and can be very disturbing if you don’t want to be part of it!"

"Hot tub not hot enough. Drilling for a time one day. No dish cloth for washing dishes. Our unit did not have a washing machine like my daughters. Need to bring clothes pegs for drying clothes on rack outside. Let people know to bring a bathing cap"

"It was first time to be in Portugal but the experience was unforgettable moments in life . The food was good and the welcoming experience was amazing. Will be back soon with our children and also the area was very quite which will be ideal for taking a break from England. "
