Dated but ok
The home is dated and not everything works. The dryer did not work I reported it but never heard from anyone. The upstairs bathroom floor is covering up some sort of structural issues that cause loud creaking. It was very disturbing to anyone trying to sleep. The lawn and landscape were not maintained. It's really not a yard you would want to spend time in. Overall it is ok but could be a lot better.

Clean and comfortable stay with great amenities
We stayed for a week with our three smaller children in tow. For two of the nights an adult and two more kids stayed. Plenty of room and super clean. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of towels and extra pillows. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook - which i did for most of our meals. The slightly negative feeling (4.75 stars) has to do with the community and area. The community has a feeling that theyre unwelcome to "outsiders" - it was fine and we had a lovely time switching between the pool and the lake. The lake was awesome for smaller kids - deepest part of the swimming area was maybe 4 feet. If we came to the area again, we would see if this house was available.

The house is fantastic! Happily surprised with a king bed in primary. The adult kids had no complaints with the queen room. The younger brother still adult tolerated the bunks. The house functioned just fine except the kitchen pots and pans , they were unusable. The Teflon pot and fry pan were just awful. I was afraid to get a decease from them. I actually went to the store and bought a Dutch pot and fry pan to use. And left them there for the next family. It would also be nice to get mixing bowls and cutting boards for the house. Other than that we absolutely loved the house. The issues they have are fixable!

Property was nice and decorative but several things within the home were broken. Top bunks were unstable and unsafe for the kids, toilet in master bedroom was broken, powder room sink wasn't working. The punch lock to open the front door wasnt working (thankfully we had a key enterance as well). Cookware needs to be updated. Overall we did like the home and made do!

The area is very centrally located to a lot of activities. Hickory Run State Park and Jim Thorpe are great areas. The home is in a community with a lot of wildlife - we saw deer, fox, squirrel and a lot of birds. We found out that the community eatery will not serve beer to any non member so we ate in the Lake Harmony area. The home itself is in need of some attention. The pans are shot and pretty much beyond use, the front door handle is about ready to fall off. We waited several hours for a repair person to come fix the fireplace only to find out they wouldn’t be coming until the following week. Communication with the property manager was difficult - only permitting messaging in VRBO and the response was slow. We were refunded $100 for the inconvenience of not having the fireplace. While we loved the area and will return, we will not stay in this home or in the Towamensing Community.

Cozy mountain home in nice walkable neighborhood. We were able to bring our two cockapoos along and they enjoyed looking out glass front door. Home has all the necessities to eat in! Smart TVs provide ability to watch TV cuddled up on the couch or in bedrooms.

This place was perfect. Plenty of room for all 10 adults. All the beds, even the pull out in loft was very comfortable. Very quiet and lots to do in area . Deer are VERY friendly too.

Perfect Family Mountain House
We had such a great time staying at this home. They were not kidding about the deer coming right up to the deck. If you want a nice relaxing vacation I highly recommend this property. It's a 15 minute walk to the lake and close to a lot places. It is so cutely decorated and gives you a nice mountain feel. It was clean and very spacious for my adult family of 8. We will check this place first when we plan out next moutain trip.

Kitchen was fully supplied with real nice flatware and dishes. Fireplace was the best. Beds very comfortable. A great place to have family gatherings. A beautiful setting with dozens of deer coming around during the day. DR table fit 8, great washer and dryer, very comfortable seating in LR. Everything works well and was just as it was advertised.

Pocono Getaway
We spent a week in this wonderful chalet. We were greeted by deer every morning, and we're even able to catch a little snow. Our son and his wife visited, and appreciated the long walks and comfortable accommodations. Be aware that the closest store is a well stocked Dollar General, but 15 minutes away there are larger stores. Jim Thorpe Village is not far, and it's a nice way to spend an afternoon. The Management Team was very responsive. We had a great stay and highly recommend the home. Thank you!

Nice home in the Poconos
Property was well maintained and home was very clean. Lots of wildlife and enjoyed the location. Only hit was notified managment of a few things but never heard back. Thankfully information was not imperative to receive a response but would of been nice to have gotten one.

clean and well maintained
The house and yard are very well maintained and inside was really clean, although the cleaning fee seemed unusually high. Check in was simple and easy and they kindly accommodated my early check in request. Some questions, such as whether there is a fire pit , I asked before getting there were overlooked and not answered, but it was OK. In overall, it was relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Charming Home
Was so enamored by the cottage! I really loved my stay and the property was beautiful! All that's needed is a bigger grill and was quite frightend by a smoky the bear that makes his occasional appearance. No worries, he's really harmless and keeps his distance once he hears your voice. Otherwise, loved my stay and Brittany was so helpful and accommodating, I'd love to stay again.
