Island View

The spacious home can accommodate up to 6 adult guests very comfortably (plus an extra child in a cot or an adult on a king single size very comfortable couch on request). The base price is for two guests only and any extra person is charged at $49 per night.

Island View is a quality holiday home of simplicity & contemporary coziness. You will be able to enjoy white beaches (300m away) turquoise water, bush walks, organic garden produce, quality bedding, darkness and silence apart from frog sounds and bird chattering ... enquire about the 7 Nights Winter Special to enjoy underfloor heating in the bathrooms, reverse cycle heating, electric blankets and a bottle of the finest local preservative free red wine by the fire.

Island View is a modern home with an open plan kitchen, dinning, lounge area, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a large viewing deck for relaxing and BBQs. The kitchen and modern pantry are fully equipped including a quality dishwasher, large fridge/freezer with ice machine and various coffee/tea making options. A Plasma TV in the lounge area has satellite connection. The 3 spacious bedrooms can sleep 2 people each. A baby cot, high chair and massage table are available and so are beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkelling gear and flippers, wetsuits and sun shade, (surf boards and kite surfing equipment on request). The laundry has a quality washing machine and clothes dryer.
Next to the car port is a parking space for an extra car, boat, trailer, caravan etc.
Guests are welcome to pick from the herb, vegetable and fruit in the garden.
The two bathrooms are spacious and bright with open showers and the master suite has a free standing bath.

Cleanliness is of the highest standard and due to the recent world health crisis more attention is given to disinfecting high risk surfaces with hot steam and washing soft furnishings frequently.

More than you can imagine
Stayed there for 3 nights, 6 adults and a dog. Absolutely perfect. Fully equipped with everything you could imagine and more, you will want for nothing . Located right near Goode Beach which is a beautiful beach for dogs to run free. Would be perfect for winter and summer. Thank you to Elke for being such a wonderful host.

The best view
Very comfy home and very well equipped. The fire was lovely, plenty of wood but found the air conditioner spread more heat quicker to the bedroom and thru open plan areas. Bed, pillows, sheets were awesome. Would recommend leaving instructions for the tv with 4 remotes. Would definately recommend to friends and family. Thanks for your help and hospitality elke.

Absolutely the most beautiful holiday accommodation that I have ever stayed within. A beautifully designed home with stunning views out to the Southern Ocean from many rooms. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Every detail in this home points to Elke's passion for nature including the beautiful native plantings that attract a stunning array of native birds. Goode? It was Great!!..
From pre booking to check out this was, hands down, one of the best home stays we have had.... worldwide. Whilst the concept of home-stay as an alternative to hotels is still relatively new (10 yrs) our experience has seen a trend to single purpose/dedicated short stay rentals as a pure moneymaking venture by investors. Not Elke's HOME at Goode Beach, you feel it as soon as you walk through the door, the warmth of the fire, crackling in the living room, the view of the Southern Ocean from the kitchen & dining room, the subtle, welcoming smell of essential oils wafting through the house create an immediiate welcome to all the senses. Immediately relaxed after a long drive we wete very grateful for Elke's tips via text as to where to pick up supplies and thrn to find THE most comprehensively stocked kitchen pantry, we easily settled in to a home cooked seafood dinner of Albany oysters, Scallops, salmon and pasta including some fresh herbs snd Spinach from Elke's beautiful orgsnic garden. Beds, baths, furnishings and fit out were all perfect, unique, tasteful and reflected many years of thoughtful curation by Elke to complement and enhance her unique home. To share this home is/was a privilege, we felt we were staying with an old friend and even though she was absent, Elke was always availsble to share advice or suggestions for local wineries or restaurants or attractiobs. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our Home-stayz and would givevit 10 stars if we could. Thank you Elke!!!

Everything you need, better than a boutique hotel!
The location is gorgeous and so is the house. Close to some great sights to explore but the real gem is the house and it’s view of the ocean. Elke has outfitted the house with everything you need and luxury items like a soda stream, heated floors in bathroom, heated mattress in master bedroom, kitchen stocked with all spices, herbs, tea and anything else you may need. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
