"Great stay "

"Some youth sports team was there during our stay. They were obnoxiously loud for HOURS. I called numerous times and nothing was dealt with because the pool would be closing at 10. My first call was 8:30 - and that was after listening for a couple hours. Why should I have to put up with that until 10pm?? I called back after 10 because they then went around and knocked on all the doors. Again, this was not dealt with. Completely unacceptable!! I stay at this hotel quite frequently and I know this isn’t the norm, but I will NOT put up with it again. "

"What a wonderful home! The kitchen is light filled and well appointed. We spent a lot of time around the table. The living room is cozy, with an electric stove to warm the room on chilly evenings. The downstairs bedroom was comfortable, though the bathroom is not attached. The shower is quite small for bigger people but we made it work. The stairs are typical old New England, meaning narrow and winding. They were fine for the younger ones in our family. The third floor was the kids hangout and they loved it. The location is ideal for exploring Portsmouth. We enjoyed watching the tide go in and out. Michelle is an excellent host. She responded quickly to questions. She was so accommodating. We would love to return. "
