"If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay a short drive from Summerside this is the place! This cottage home is beautiful and very well appointed. The view and access to the little beach was great. A lovely screened porch was perfect for enjoying a quiet read and/or meal. The hot tub, outdoor pizza oven, and many appliances provided were exceptional. Sandy and Gord were the most attentive hosts we have ever had. Many little details are thought of and their response to any needs was amazing. We would definitely stay here again!"

Crooked Cottage on Kildare Capes

"So, Crooked Cottage is not a misnomer.. it is indeed crooked in side ( drop a marble on the floor and it'll roll away ). It is small inside and is very much for a couple, not as suited for two people sleeping in different beds under one roof ( pull out couch is "meh" ). You'll notice that this did not detract from my rating, these are just observations... Maybe the only recommendations i'd make is for the shower, being as small as it is, put in one of the hand held shower heads.. and maybe a proper but still small kitchen table and chairs ( found what was there, bistro style, a bit too small and the chairs somewhat fragile ) Still, not a detraction, just a recommendation All this being said, it's one of the best appointed Cottages i've rented. Has AC if you need it, tons of mugs, cutlery, cooking accessories - anything you'd need in a kitchen is here (multiple coffee type makers too). Having an over/under washer dryer is unique and was appreciated by myself and my daughter. Beautiful grounds and gardening.. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay again if we were ever out that way again."

"Mark & Jing were gracious host and keep the hotel very clean. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. They thought of everything. The bed was very comfortable! It was nice having the Tasiang Kitchen & Taps restaurant attached to the hotel in case you need to grab a bite to eat. The menu is limited but enough. The Continental breakfast that Mark & Jing put out has a good variety to suit everyone’s needs. We would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat!!"

"The house was clean, comfortable, and Lynn and Shaun had thought of every possible thing we might need. From flashlights to first aid kits to extra towels, blankets you name it, this place had it. The view of the ocean was stunning, we really enjoyed sitting on the sunroom porch and watching the sunset each night. My husband and I came alone, but this is a great place for families. As I said, outfitted with everything, including beach toys and beach chairs. It is quite isolated, not near restaurants or a grocery store, so plan ahead and bring some food. There’s great equipment for cooking. Thank you, Lynn and Sean for providing us with a wonderfully quiet and lovely place to spend a few days."

"This property is advertised as a one bedroom when in fact it has two nice bedrooms, one upstairs and one down as well as a pullout sofa. It isvery well equipped with everything you can think of. The upstairs sunroom and downstairs screen room are great additions and much needed as the mosquitoes can be fierce. There are bug zappers.The beds were comfortable, the place was clean and beautifully decorated.We would definitely return."
