Downtown Alamosa 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Home

You will feel at home in this cozy new duplex that is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood that has private areas, great neighbors, and a great location. Walking distance to downtown and a park. Our home also includes comfortable beds with a king size tempur-pedic bed in the master bedroom with adjoining master bathroom, double sinks and new shower heads. More information The space This property was the 4th house built in Alamosa in 1881 on 400 acres. The original home had to be torn down because of structural issues. This new home was rebuilt as an investment property, and thought this would make a perfect family vacation rental due to it's location being so conveniently located near downtown and Cole Park, where there are several great events held. This would also make a great home for individuals coming in for meetings or training since we are conveniently located close to Adams State University and the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center. Our home is also located 2 blocks from the Rio Grande River, Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, two brewery's, one includes the Roast Craft Coffee Shop, and lots of other great restaurants and shops.

Great place in Alamosa!

We really enjoyed Kevin's place. It had everything we needed. It was a cozy and comfortable place to stay during our conference and we would absolutely stay here again.

The property is located in a great area for walking to Main St. businesses in Alamosa. Having access to a garage was nice. We felt very comfortable during our 4-day stay and would stay here again.

We loved this home and all of the extras provided. There was a snack basket, laundry pods, bounce sheets, spices, coffee/kcups/tea, shampoo/conditioner, bodywash. Very clean and nicely decorated. Close to the college and downtown.

Perfect Stay!

Gorgeous home, AC, beautiful, comfortable and spotless. The furniture and bedding is all brand new and the pictures do not do it justice! Great house, right in town, walking distance to everything, and a short drive to the sand dunes.

Trip to Sand Dunes NP

This little home in Alamosa was perfect for our family of 4. It is two blocks from coffee shops and restaurants on the main drag through Alamosa. It is also walking distance to a nice park for the kids. We drove to the Sand Dunes National Park both days we stayed - it was about 35-40 minute drive. The home was clean and check in/out was very easy. I would definitely stay here again!

Thoughtful Hosts

We frequently visit Alamosa and found this to be the best stay we’ve found. Lots of towels and washcloths, facial tissue and toilet paper takes excellent care of the basics. Well stocked kitchen and laundry are great for a lengthy stay. Access to garage and games put this place at the top of our list!

Comfortable and Cozy

The home was very comfortable and cozy, with room for all of us to relax. The boys loved that they had snacks available when we got there because after a 4-hour drive they were hungry. The fact that the property was pet friendly saved our vacation because our dog sitter flaked on us and it was great to be able to bring our pup and being able to make that decision at the last minute. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we would rent there again.

We were delighted to find a basket of single-serving snacks on the kitchen counter, game tables in the garage (ping-pong, air hockey, & foosball), grill on the patio, & lots of fluffy towels! It’s very clean, and the host was very responsive.

Visiting Alamosa CO in the summer is just about perfect. Staying in this sunny, cheerful well appointed home topped off a delightful visit. The location is great. A short walk to downtown shops, super close to a James Beard nominated restaurant called Friar’s Fork. The walkability can’t be beat. The neighborhood was quiet. Any and everything you might need to be comfortable has been thought of and is right there in the house. Nice linens on the beds and comfy living room furniture. We live over a thousand miles away from Alamosa but we’ll be back!

Better than the listing pics!

This property was PERFECT for 2 couples dropping off our college kids. The location is so close to great food, and awesome coffee. It was so clean and has a massive garage with game tables and stuff if you traveled with a baby. It’s incredibly quiet. We will stay here again. They were so thoughtful having snacks which was perfect. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Check in was fast and easy. The bathrooms are well stocked. The pictures need to be updated since this property looks much better in person. I hesitated writing such a great review because Im not sure how many awesome properties there are like this in such a tiny town. I’d love to keep this secret to myself, but sharing is caring! Enjoy your stay.

Charming home with everything you need and then some. Walking distance to restaurants as well as full kitchen to prepare meals on site. Our grands also enjoyed the PacMan arcade game!
