"This hotel only has in room coffee, we had to ask for more coffee supplies as the only options were Starbucks in the main lobby and Blazers cafe on site. No microwaves in the rooms either, have to use the microwave in the snack area in the main lobby. The room was clean enough, beds were ok, not great. Plus extra $ for paid on site parking. The fridge was not working when we got there and ice was scarce, even though there was a machine on every floor!"

"Several staff members were unengaging and fairly curt. The car valet guys were nice but having to valet the car every time we used it was inconvenient and expensive. During our 4 night stay, the room was only serviced the third morning at my request because I had spilled coffee on the sheet the first night and they didn't service our room at all the next day. They only did it the second morning because I requested it. The first night I also found a long dark hair on one of the hand towels and placed it on the floor to be replaced but no one came the next day. Our coffee pods and sugar in the room were never replaced and the trash wasn't emptied, even on the one day we had service. The Kelly hotel is attractive but we're not likely to stay again, which is a shame since our son and DIL live in Birmingham and we visit often."

"Findings after inspecting the place:1) Moldy odor2) Furniture from pictures of the listing is not concordant with the one at the site.3) Loose tiles in the kitchen.4)Several stairs have nails popping out 5) Dirty towels /sheets / walls 6) Dirty carpet/stained 7)WiFi doesn't work.8) Advertised as with parking on site but actually off street9) Front door knob broken. I had to close from inside and exit through the back door *** Discrepancy between Images of the listin and the property. We stayed at a hotel and notified the host the next day to ask for a refund***."
