"If you are looking for a lovely studio in a walkable area near the airport with a generous breakfast, this is the place for you. BE SURE to coordinate your arrival with your host. DO NOT do what I did: reserve the 3-room apartment and show up at the given address. (The instruction to make prior arrangements if you are arriving after 10:30 pm is completely misleading.). Flying Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Older hotel in a remote location, but for what I paid it was worth it. Was safe, staff is very helpful and I enjoyed my stay."

Jet Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"It is very close to the airport. A taxi ride will cost 15-20 Euros. Walking is possible, although the roads do not have shoulders, so if walking and dragging luggage, it's not only cumbersome, but it can be a bit dangerous as not all drivers are paying attention and some drive too fast. They offer a lovely breakfast. The restaurant is open for dinner 7/7:30-10. Take a short walk or taxi to nearby restaurants. The train station is at the airport so it is extremely convenient to make the next jaunt of your adventure. Buy tickets online or at the onsite kiosk."

Hotel Susa

10/10 Excellent

"My room was spacious, clean with a balcony and incredible view of the mountains. Amenities were basic, shampoo, shower cap, soap but exactly what you needed. The location was fantastic, right across from the train station, wonderful little bar/ restaurant downstairs. The staff that work the bar, also check you in and were very welcoming. There are several restaurants around the corner and a Pam express supermarket metres away. I couldn’t have picked a better spot for my 3 nights in Susa."

L'Avancher

10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel in a great location in Val-d'Isère, large car park with easy access to the hotel. Very helpful staff, friendly and knowledgeable for places to visit in the town. The bar and bar staff were great with games and cards available. The gym is tiny and can only hold three people before it’s full. The hotel is in close walking distance to local bars and restaurants. Our room was large with two balconies with amazing mountain views. The bathroom was large and the room modern with great air conditioning. The hotel was modern and clean but retained the alpine style and was a great place to stay."

CGH Résidences & Spas Le Kalinda

8/10 Good

"We were 2 pensioners staying to watch our young grandchildren skiing. The 1 bedroom self service apartment was adequate, however 1) it was directly above a bar 2) we wished and asked for a double bed but had singles 3) the outlook was to an inner rectangle but we expected to be able to look out to the slopes - we had booked and paid months in advance!"
