Independent in Al Riffa

"We had a wonderful two-night stay at Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island with our 9-month-old baby. From the very beginning, the experience was smooth and welcoming—the reception team kindly upgraded our room to a top category, which made our stay even more comfortable. They also upgraded our package from All-Inclusive to Dine Around, giving us access to multiple restaurants and bars across the resort (with a selected menu), which was a nice added touch. The atmosphere was very family-friendly, and we all truly enjoyed our time there. The food quality and variety were good overall, though there is still some room for improvement. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing stay—we would definitely consider coming back."

"Unfortunately I found a cockroach as I was going to the bathroom in the middle of the night which I guess happens in the middle of the desert but when we checked out I showed a picture of it to the person introducing himself as one of the managers, all I got was Thank you for Letting us know. No apologies at all. Luckily it was me seeing the suite’s pet and not my wife. The place is not like any other Ritz-Carlton we have stayed at. We have stayed over 50 nights in the Ritz in the past 4 years in 3 different countries. It is run down and in desperate need of renovation."
