Room was clean and comfortable. Nice location close to everything you would need. However Check-in and check-out took a long time, the lady in the reception called “Welaya” was very unprofessional and rude, in my opinion. Most of the time she did not even look at me while talking to me. Treated me very badly. I would not recommend or stay here again!!

This was a business trip from the UK for one night before traveling back to Dubai. I arrived in the middle of the night and was helpfully and sympathetically checked into the hotel. Breakfast and service was very good and would recommend this hotel for a business trip to Khobar.

Lovely reception staff, very forthcoming and ready to help! Room bit dated but very clean. Location was perfect for me though in Saudi everything is spread out so might not suit everyone. It's only 10 minutes walk away from the sea. I did walk from the hotel to the promenade on my own and felt quite safe ( haven't seen anyone else walking that distance as everybody else is driving ) All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

Not much has changed since the last time I had stayed here few years ago. Al Gossaibi is a luxurious Arabian themed hotel, with varies forms of activity available for the guest, such as the gym and the bowling alley. One major negative changed found was the quality of the breakfast buffet. Seems economical cuts effected the quality where previously Al Gossaibi breakfast was known to be one of the best in the town.

Very nice hotel close to the Corniche walking area
Chose this hotel because it was very close (walking distance) to office building where I had meetings. Hotel appears to be fairly new and in excellent condition. Staff at Reception Desk were great and professional. I only had breakfast at the hotel restaurant but there was a lot of selection and well presented. My only minor complaint is the WiFi on the room was slow. basic email is okay but multimedia is almost useless. Though to be fair I have stayed in 6 hotels this business trip (Muscat, Kuwait City, Dammam) and they were all slow. So maybe it's systemic for the GCC unless you get a hotel where you pay for high-speed access. Over all i would stay at the Algosaibi Hotel again.

all is good till the check out moment
it been more than 4 years I used to stay in this hotel , the best in this hotel is the buffet in the main restaurant , in other hand lately some changes i notice and I think it is due to shrink the cost as example the personal stuff inside the room became low quality and few finally front office stuff is friendly and nice specially the Indian gentleman in the front desk and all bellmen guys , but also you must face a bad experience with the front office , during check out there was a Syrian guy i dont know his name but he was aggressive and he miss the proper way to deal with regular guest and because of him i think i will think twice next time i make reservation in this hotel

First time and definitely the last time at this boring hotel. It's so boring and so deadly old and needs renovation. I would recommend people to go elsewhere.

Nice hotel - clean, quiet and comfortable in a secluded area. 2 blocks from Corniche and close to downtown with great gym and sports and recreational facilities. Good value compared to other 5 star properties.

Classy hotel with a lots of facilities
Hotel is classy, great location close to Cornish and Pepsi road restaurants, many facilities like big outdoor pool, fitness area, large parking lot, table tennis even pool billiard and bowling alley inclusive. A little noisy at times. Mainly used used by Saudi Arabian families with smaller kids. Great and comprehensive breakfast buffet included. Very good value for money compared to other Khobar hotels.

Excellent room, staff very helpful, Ali from reception helped me fix my reservation issues and recommended places to go as well as made sure the room is well serviced. Laundry was very quick returned within 6 hours. Cleaning staff very cortious. The breakfast is rich and amazing. Shower amenities are fragrant with arabian oud which is a nice touch. The gym is big, not crowded and excellent for any kind of work out and you can use the bowling alley afterwards for a good rate. All in all i would recommend al gosaibi for any business traveller, you can't really beat the value for money on this hotel.

Old hotel, broken curtains, broken bed sheets, bad maintenance and poor breakfast. Dammam and Al Khibar offer a lot of better real 5stars hotels with the same prices
