"Mercure is a very decent hotel. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. Beds are comfy and you can enjoy the quietness and the block out curtains. Food is not the best, but if you download hunger station app, you can enjoy delivery from most restaurants in Makkah. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. "

"Overall the property was great. The only issue, which was out of their control, was that the area is very busy at night and it’s hard to sleep with the noise. Staff was nice, property was clean and in a nice location"

"A very good location for a person's needs during umrah, hajj or just a leisure trip. Resturants, superstores, pharmacies, transport, etc. are at the doorstep. Free buses to haram available at a walk of just 1000m from the hotel."
"I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights, and it was the worst experience of my life. The bathroom was filthy, and despite multiple requests, room service never came. The staff were completely unprofessional and showed no concern for guests.
To make things worse, the hotel lied in their advertisement on Hotels.com—they claimed to be close to Haram Sharif, but in reality, it was very far. This was extremely inconvenient, especially for those visiting for religious purposes.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. False advertising, dirty rooms, terrible service, and unhelpful staff—avoid this hotel at all costs!"
