"Great apartment with friendly and helpful hostess. The apartment is clean and tidy, has Netflix too. Location is good with the Old Town South Airport Bus stop 5 minutes walk away if needed. Kitchen and bathroom are good. There are free Laundry facilities. Gunny was very friendly and helpful, she responds quickly on WhatsApp. Will recommend."

"Great location, though the supermarkets are all out of the centre. Prob best for 1 rather than 2 as bed has to be against the wall, but fine for me as a solo traveller. Very quiet, which was ideal for me working. Good to have cafetiere stock of coffee!"

"Great hostel, perfect location, very clean with plenty of bathrooms (which we were concerned about after reading other reviews). Staffless check-in worked fine. Oh, and excellent free coffee! Only complaint is that the pod was too warm, with no way to control the temperature apart from a fairly ineffective fan. "

"Excellent central location close to the shops, bars, restaurants etc. Well equipped kitchen and cooking facilities. Comfy lounge area and beds. Perfect apartment for a short stay, really enjoyed staying here and the close proximity to all amenities. Really appreciated the earlier check in as our flight arrived in the morning and we were able to get into the apartment from midday which was great. I’m hoping to revisit Akureyri and will definitely be looking to book Saga Apartments again! Thanks for a wonderful stay! "

"The accomodation was clran and contained all we needed for a comfortable stay. Contact with staff was minimal but satisfactory. The heat of the shower water wasnt great. The lighting was inadewuate"
