Peaceful gated compound with ocean and Mountain View. Bathrooms are small but that’s typical on the island. Had a wonderful time and would gladly go back again."

"Our stay at Joy’s Villas was incredible. The villas are in a perfect location; it’s quiet, with incredible views but also very close to Chania and some amazing beaches and restaurants. The Villa was beautiful inside and out; with breath taking views. Communication with the host was great, and upon arrival we had a basket of local treats which was a nice surprise! "This beautiful villa is a hidden gem. The little village is so gorgeous. The drive up through the olive orchard is stunning. We never tired of the view. The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. "

Chania-Crete-Vrisses
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (14 reviews)
"The Villa Aloni exceeded all our expectations in terms of quality and facilities. We were looking for somewhere in "hidden Crete" and this property in Maza gave us a sense of rural remoteness but with access to the national road (and easy drives to Hania and Rethymnon) in 5 minutes. The villa was excellently equipped with every modern convenience (except a dishwasher which might have been an asset for a larger party). Everything worked effectively and when the kettle broke, this was replaced...
