"The converted camper was as pictured and as described with a beautiful mountain backdrop. We especially appreciated the mini-fridge in the kitchenette. The central restroom facilities offered men's and women's sides with 2 bathroom stalls and 2 shower stalls in each. Esjan was well located between Borgarnes and Reykjavik."
"Such a quaint property in a historic home turned into a b & b. The living room and kitchen were such welcoming spaces with beautiful art pieces on the wall and bookcases. The room we stayed in was pretty small, luckily the warmness of the owner and the common spaces made us feel taken care of and at home. "
"We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is centrally located in the city center, walkable to main attractions, yet quiet and peaceful. The bed is comfortable, Wifi reliable, good water pressure, plenty of hot water, easy check-in, great communication with the host. I enthusiastically recommend this apartment when in Reykjavik."

10/10 Excellent
"Manage your expectations and this place is amazing. Rooms are cozy but extremely clean and comfortable, bathrooms are funky but shared so expect others to be annoying!
The technology and the quality are brilliant and it’s a cut above any other “hostel” style accommodation.
Didn’t appreciated the lecture I got from the receptionist on booking through a third party (hotels.com) because I didn’t get a QR code and needed help checking in. Other than that didn’t interact with staff really at all and that was fine. "
"We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very centrally located and very charming. Parking was an issue at the beginning but by the end of our stay it was better"
"Amazing! I can’t say anything else. Out room was great, all the appliances we used worked great. The bed was beyond comfortable and everything was so clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even apologized for the road construction on their street (which did not affect us at all with the exception of being able to drive to the entry and drop bags. There is a parking garage less than a 2 minute walk from the main property and we can walk to everywhere else downtown. "
"The front desk staff was exceptional in helping us. My husbands bag did not arrive and they answered any questions we had. Louisa was especially good to us. The rooms are somewhat dated. But the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Easy walking to everything even though not right downtown. Transportation for tours was very easy. It’s nice to have the bar and lounge and they do have happy hour 3-6. Overall our stay was very good and I would stay here again. The bakery on site is wonderful. We did have the breakfast buffet one day and it was ok. Dinner and our bar food were good. "
"Second time staying here. Great funky fun vibe. As Reykjavick has expanded it's a great spot, just a few blocks from one of the main streets for restaurants, shops, and bars. Would stay there again."
"I truly loved this hotel and wished I could have stayed longer. It was in a perfect location with easy walking distance to everything with beautiful parks and lake just metres away with many beautiful birds. The service was first class and the restaurant served delicious food. One of the best breakfasts I have ever seen. My bed was so comfy, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Highly recommended. "
"We had a great stay here. The hotel is stylish with great facilities and in an excellent location for spending time in Reykjavik. The breakfast is particularly good - huge amount of choice and everything delicious. "
