"We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"

"This was a very clean hostel. They had a kitchen you could use and there was a bar and restaurant. Very convenient to the central area of the city. This was our first hostel, so I was concerned about bath facilities however there were sufficient that we never had to wait. I would stay there again."

"Room was clean but because of the post pride parade party the hotel was a bit of a mess. The outdoor top deck had broken glass, cig butts, etc. And, it needed some seating. The shower in the standard room is a joke. Tiny and the entire bathroom gets wet when you shower. Very quiet and a good location"

"Phone key did not work for the entrance the entire time of our stay. Had to walk to go get a physical key - fine for me, but hard for elderly parents. No option to deliver the key was provided, which is an inconvenience for $700+ per night hotel room. Otherwise, the hotel room itself was great - remember that there is no elevator."
