DO NOT STAY HERE- Awful owner, average property

We are 2 families with three children under 10 years. The house is fine, but on arrival the pool was green with algae. After driving for 12 hours everyone just wanted to jump in the pool, but that couldnt happen. We were told that the pump had broken the day before and that the pool would be ready for tomorrow. The pool stayed Green all week and couldn’t t be used. The reality was that the owner hadn’t made the pool ready for our stay…. Pools do not turn that dark a shade of green in 24 hours! The owwner was aggressive when I told him via message that I’d hoped that they would have been there at checkout so that we could have discussed the situation in person. We specifically booked the property for the pool as that is all that our kids need from a holiday… 2 weeks in the pool! I have messaged and emailed the owner several times since leaving the property but they are refusing to respond. So they have got away with charging us for a pool that they didn’t bother to provide for us. VRBO have contacted them but no response, and Vrbo say that there is no compensation that they can offer. Terrible.

Une magnifique maison, avec une vue dégagée à 360° sur les montagnes et le lac, sans vis à vis, avec un trés beau terrain, une superbe piscine entretenue tous les jours par le gardien. On perçoit le léger ronronnement de la vallée, mais en contrepartie la maison est toute proche des axes de circulations pour profiter des multiples agréement lac et montagne. Une des meilleures locations que nous ayons faite ces 20 dernières années. Merci

Reposant, atypique, manoir spacieux, vue magnifique

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, nous étions 3 couples avec enfants. Le manoir est spacieux pour que chaque famille y trouve son intimité. Les salles communes et les extérieurs sont idéales pour se retrouver. Très belle vue sur le lac depuis le jardin et la piscine.
