This apartment is in a perfect location if you want to be able to travel by foot throughout the centre-ville of Aix. There's plenty to see and do nearby. Also very convenient to just grab an Uber and head to Cassis for the day or hop on the TGV for Avignon or other destinations. Christian maintained communication throughout our booking and stay process. His assistant was also very responsive. The only issue we had during our stay was that prior occupants had completely clogged the shower drain with hair, so we had a bit of a flood situation when my son tried to use it. It was addressed immediately and we were provided with more towels, etc. since we had to use them to clean up the mess. We had no other issues after that.It was very convenient having a full kitchen set up. We didn't take much advantage of it, since there are numerous shops and restaurants surrounding the property, including an excellent creperie directly below it and a fromagerie across the street. The weekly market is huge and in May offered a variety of fresh produce, meats, breads, cheeses, and dry goods such as clothing, jewelry, and bags.We would gladly book this location again if we are traveling to the area.
