"What I liked about this property is that it an older building but they have made an effort to update it and make it felt like home. Had a laundry but no view with the room I got but this was explained to me why and that was ok, as I was on a work trip and it was only for one night so it really didn't matter. "

"Really terrible! I could ignore the previous guests towels hanging up drying on the porch, the shower not cleaned, but I couldn’t ignore that the bed had bedbugs!!! For the price of the room, I would expect a minimum of a clean bed, I could feel them crawling and biting me all night. I spoke with a staff member the next morning and they said they would investigate and call me back…of course no return call. I guess the next guest will have the same problem! I moved to Airlie Beach Hotel for a fraction more cost, but wonderfully clean and I had a great sleep! Definitely not returning!"

"This property is quite run down and could use a real good cleaning of all the outside areas, walkways to the rooms and the pool area. We spent a week and there was bird poop, old bandaids, dead bugs, etc that were never washed down. The pools were nice but you had to wear your thongs all the time."

"The Pinnacles is well located to shops, restaurants etc, with an amazing view. However it is set on a steep hill. So be prepared for a steep walk up or a taxi which is approx $10 per trip."
