Hilo Reeds Bay Hotel
The condition is okay but old. The staff is very friendly. No air conditioning as announced in the expedia website. The view of the bay is sweet with some big trees in the parking lot. Parking is free during stay.

Incredibly good deal for the price. No elevator but my unit was a mini apartment with sofa bed, kitchenette stocked with utensils, cookware and real plates and glasses. Tropical 1-bedroom cabin. Five minute drive to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
Parking is tight. There was only three vehicles when we arrived but if there was four it would be tight especially if you have a bigger vehicle. We stayed in one of the rooms behind. It is simple and enough if you are staying one or two days short term. Very close to Volcano national park
